  We hired 3LP Roofing to install a metal roof, but the project did not go as expected. We encountered multiple issues, including damaged panels, improper sheeting & screw installation, incorrect flashing, and a failed city inspection. Despite several repair attempts, including touch up paint on nearly every panel - the problems persisted. We were left to handle cleanup ourselves due to ongoing safety hazards from debris - especially concerning with children and animals on the property. 3LP insisted on full payment prior to satisfactory completion and the work ultimately remained unresolved. The situation escalated to a lien being placed on our home, resulting in significant legal expenses to address the matter.

  Hi Hirzels, We did your roof over a year ago and today we had a court date that did not go in your favor. This is your second inaccurate attempt at leaving us a 1-star review, so we will once again go over the facts. The photos you posted were taken mid-project before completion and chimney was fixed. You wouldn’t allow us to fix paint issues. You had the metal fabricator drop the panels approximately 50-60 feet from the house, requiring extensive additional handling. You also repeatedly delayed the project and changed decisions while other contractors were working on-site. We were forced to stop work and even remove portions of an already installed roof to accommodate those changes. There is no painted metal roof that will not have some scratches, and repeatedly removing and reinstalling sections only created additional handling and additional scratches. This roof passed all inspections, meets Florida Building Code, and is covered by manufacturer warranties. After weeks of delayed payment, we were forced to file a lien. You then countersued, claiming injury to your back from getting on the roof despite voluntarily spending significant time on the roof inspecting and criticizing work you admittedly were not familiar with. You also claimed cleanup issues that were never raised during the project, despite hosting a party during construction and complimenting our work throughout most of the installation. For those interested in the actual timeline: We were first contacted in May 2024 regarding a shingle roof. Nearly a year later, Keith requested a metal roof estimate. A shingle contract was signed March 3, 2025, but Keith later requested a change to metal roofing because a family member died and we negotiated price. The project was delayed at the homeowner’s request multiple times due to other work being performed on the property. The project began May 13, 2025. We removed over 4,400 square feet of roofing and replaced 22 sheets of plywood. Keith’s response

  3LP was phenomenal. Referred me to public claims adjuster, then referred to attorney. They stayed loyal and helpful until insurance paid for my new roof. Only puzzle never contacted about mitigation?service mentioned. May not have right term for it.
