  Buyer Beware: I reached out to get a quote for my home and was connected with a representative named Kenny. From the very beginning, he was extremely rude, which immediately raised red flags. During the call, he continued to belittle me, even though I was simply trying to gather information. He stated that this was his business and that he would “pick and choose” who he works with, all while using highly inflammatory language. I’m not certain about the accuracy of everything he said, but I was thoroughly appalled by this brief, four-minute interaction with the company

  Yorkshire Roofing greatly appreciates customer reviews, as they help us with delivering excellent service to our customers. Our usual attention to detail results in very positive reviews, but as the saying goes, you can not appease everyone all the time. We, here at Yorkshire Roofing felt it was important to respond to the Vollmer review, because Vollmers malicious and defamatory review that he posted over 1 1/2 years after his project was complete does not accurately describe what occurred on this job. First, we would like to apologize to the occupants of this complex for the inconvenience caused by the loss of electricity. Unfortunately, this situation was caused by circumstances beyond our control. Yorkshire Roofing started this roof install in October of 2023. Unknown to Yorkshire Roofing, prior to the installation of the new roof, numerous power lines had been placed directly under the existing plywood, which is very dangerous and in direct violation of applicable building codes. Having no knowledge of the wires, Yorkshire Roofing began installing the new roof, using the manufacturer IB Roof System specifications, requiring screws to penetrate at least 1/2” through the underside of the plywood. Having the electrical wires directly under the plywood resulted in screw penetration of the sub-standard electrical wires and the loss of power to a large part of the building. The review states that Yorkshire Roofing refused to determine the cause of the loss of power. This, however, is not accurate. Yorkshire Roofing immediately called our electrician to the job to investigate. As a result, it was determined that the electrical wires were improperly placed under the roof’s plywood. In fact, the wires were actually touching the underside of the existing plywood. Rather than accepting responsibility for this mistake, Vollmer demanded that Yorkshire Roofing pay to remove the roofing and plywood so the wires could be relocated.   Yorkshire Roofing have completed several roofs, numerous repairs and 2 solar projects for me and in every instance they have done the work professionally and in a timely manner. Their prices are competitive and staff friendly and courteous. I would recommend them 100%.

  I’ve been doing business with Kenny and the guys over at Yorkshire for years, not just at my business but my personal residence as well. The job is always completed with meticulous attention to detail and cleaned up professionally. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to get the job done right.

  Great company--highly professional, competent, responsive, and ethical. Installed 17 solar panels for my home this past summer (2023), did it fast and efficiently and continue to respond quickly to follow-up questions, etc. Definitely recommend.

  I highly recommend Yorkshire Roofing. They were super responsive, reasonably priced and did excellent work on our roof. The estimator Steve Disch is a true professional - he sat down with us and went over all the options and spent a lot of time explaining everything. I assure you, you don’t get that kind of customer service with other roofing companies (I know firsthand - I got a lot of low effort estimates from companies who looked at my roof for like 2 minutes and hardly spoke to me) Yorkshire was pretty booked up and we were scheduled out a few months. However, they helped us right away when our roof started leaking and put up a temporary patch that held up great until they could get to us on the schedule. The workers were thorough, always on time and did a great job, the roof looks great and we are so happy with our decision to use them.

  I hired Yorkshire Roofing to do a very extensive roof job on my house and they were excellent. They answered all of my questions and were very thorough. They did a great job with clean up as well, which I was very impressed by. I recommend Yorkshire to friends and family all the time. They really did an amazing job for us.
