  I live in a townhome in Avalon Park and our HOA hired Wooley Brothers Roofing to replace our roofs. When they replaced my roof, the workers made a big pile of old shingles on the top of my patio roof, which is just aluminum. I kept asking the workers to move the pile and they just pretended that they didn’t speak English and ignored me. Two weeks later there was a leak in my roof that I had to pay a contractor to repair. When the workers started working on the townhomes next to mine they drove through my side yard when they were backing a large trash receptacle into a driveway of one of the townhomes. I called Wooley Brothers and spoke to the owner Aaron. He came out and looked at the yard and said he didn’t think his crew did it. Well no other big trucks drive through the alley next to my house except for the garbage truck and he comes from the other way so if it was him, the tire marks in the yard would look different. In addition, in the 15 years we have lived here, the garbage truck has never driven through my grass. When I talked to Aaron about the needed repairs he immediately started mocking me for using the word “destroyed” when I described the damage. I said that maybe he and I have a different interpretation of the word and maybe I should have used a different word. He would not let it go. He kept mocking me and making a big deal out of the fact that I used that word. He told me to go to the HOA to get the yard repaired. Why should the LOA do his work for him? He was extremely disrespectful, unprofessional, and immediately combative. I have talked to other residents who have encounter similar issues with Aaron being rude to them and refusing to fix their mistakes. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances.

  Not sure who the driver was but one of their company trucks was driving northbound on S. Orange Ave around 1240pm on 3/4/22 cutting off other vehicles. I hope this is addressed with their employees/drivers before one of them causes an accident

  We are so sorry to hear that there may have been a miscommunication. Our contract is to come to an agreement with the insurance company on pricing (we use identical software "produced and approved" by the insurance company industry for pricing), therefore overpricing is not an option. Quite often, insurance adjusters do not list all line items (damages or necessary repairs) that apply to your claim and we present them with the industry standard pricing (pricing they have set) for such to result in the agreement. The only out of pocket pricing from you should have been for your insurance claim deductible required by state statute 627.701 and possibly wood replacement charges that insurance claims mostly do not cover. Some insurance adjusters have far more roofing knowledge that others that unintentionally leave items out. As for the lien, you have likely mistaken what is actually a "Notice to Owner" explaining that we have the "right" to lien if payment is not received, not an actual lien. I do apologize that this information was not clarified in the beginning with you and we will be proactive in trying to make sure it is more clearly defined in the future.

  I didn't feel like my request for a quote was a priority for them. It took two follow up phone calls to even get them to go out.

  Kathy, we do apologize for your experience. After looking through the notes on this project, it appears that there were multiple points of contact and confusion (2 property managers and a tenant). We would love to have the chance to redeem ourselves with any future projects that may arise.

  Would you please be so kind as to give us some more details. We have NO unfinished roofs!! Somehow, we believe there's more to this than you obviously realize. If you'd be kind enough to share which roof your refereeing to, we'd be happy to look into it. UPDATE: After a little research, we see that this has been addressed on here and resolved, it was hardly a case of a "unfinished roof".

  We have "NO" contract (verbal or written) with the complainant, nor have we received any money. This roof was replaced as per a contract with the Home Owner's Association (homeowner to pay nothing). The main shingle roof was completed. The flat roofs that connect these homes are being replaced in order of damage severity and our very detailed oriented. This list is also in the hundreds. We apologize that there seems to have been a miscommunication at some point about the timing of the replacement. WE DO NOT WORK FOR THE COMPLAINANT AND HAVE NO AGREEMENTS. The community HOA is working with us to establish the order of replacements. UPDATE: BBB also closed this complaint without publicizing it.

  Faith in humanity restored!! Unfortunately, I don't own my own house, so i've never had roof work done by them, but I was having a bit of a panic attack at the gas station. See they didn't accept tap and my card wasn't reading, and i was on fumes. one of thel owners (I wish I would have gotten his name)offered to pay for my gas and wouldn't allow me to pay them back!! This has never happened to me before and if I know anybody that needs a new roof I will definitely have them call them because that is the nicest thing a stranger has ever done for me!!! Thank you, you made my day!!
