  Sorry, Mr. freedom stick that you have misunderstood our description of why you wasn’t notified, which was that our crewmember failed to let us know that they did not show up, which is why you was not informed that no one would be showing up at the appointment time which me and you discussed on the phone which is why we apologized for the inconvenience and was completely willing to reschedule and even discount potential pricing to accommodate but we was unable to offer due to being cut off

  I work in the home improvement industry. I luckily have never even condisdered doing bussiness with these people but have family and friends who have. The way they do bussiness is completely unprofessional. I would go in to detail but I am afraid to give specifics because I truly believe they are so unproffesional that if they knew who I was talking about they would retaliate against them in some way. Not to mention, the responses from the owner (or whoever writes the responses) has AWFUL grammar and when they have a negative review they do nothing but deflect with a terrible attitude, making them look even MORE UNPROFFESIONAL. I would recomend considering ANY OTHER local company before considering Windstar! I dont even understand how they have an over all 4.6 rating. Probably paying people to give good ratings to compensate for all of the bad ones! Thanks for listening to my ted talk!

  If you're researching this company for work on your home, I encourage you to consider the long-term quality and professionalism of their service. Years after our gutter installation, we've now had to consult with a specialist due to persistent drainage issues—made worse by the recent 2025 storms. What we assumed was a typical gutter backup turned out to be a much bigger problem. Despite removing a nearby tree years ago to prevent clogging, water continued pooling in front of our home. A specialist has since confirmed the gutter was improperly pitched, causing water to backflow instead of draining to the corner as it should. Additionally, essential hardware was never installed, as evidenced by the absence of mounting holes (photo included in this review). It’s important to note that the gutters were installed personally by Michael—not his subcontractors, who only handled our roof repair. I had left a review years ago regarding the unprofessional conduct and dismissive attitude I experienced during the original job. Initially, the company claimed I was never a customer, only to revise their response after I provided photographic proof and storms from about a year ago. While their tone shifted to appear more courteous—likely due to the influx of storm-related service calls—the lack of accountability and quality remains a concern. Please do your research thoroughly. Professionalism and integrity matter, especially when you're trusting someone with the protection of your home.

  I have an active leak in my roof. Scheduled for an inspection/estimate days out because of their availability. Welp my scheduled window has now passed. I have not heard a single word in regards to a delay or being late. I try to call and the voicemail is full. A full voicemail? Seriously?

  Mike's is a family business. And I enjoy working with and getting to know them. Mike went the extra mile and found a crew to work on a Sunday. I had had severe storm damage and needed a new roof ASAP. If I needed another new roof, I would definitely call Windstar roofing.

  I heard about this roofing company from a friend of mine. He said that they were quick professional, clean and fast all the things he said was true. They came out and within a day and a half I took off my old roof, repaired any bad spots and installed the new roof. They paid attention to detail and cleaned up after themselves several times, even though they had special Claussen nets to catch everything they had a gentleman walk around as a secondary for a little debris and a magnet checker to get all metal debris and nails, and then he got past their safety measures. I would recommend this company telling my family and friends. The communication from the office was great. They stuck to bed. Budget and communication was perfect.

  I saw their sign in a neighboring yard, We called about replacing the siding on our house, they came the next afternoon to work on an estimate. We were shown samples of the products available. Very friendly, professional, and most importantly not hi pressure. We decided on a color we liked and scheduled installation. Installers were prompt, on time, friendly, and professional. They picked up after themselves daily and didn’t leave the yard a mess. When the job was complete they came back cleaned up everything, removed all debris and picked up the scrap and yard removing any nails left behind. I would 100% recommend for siding replacement.
