  Don't ever go and get a quote from this business to get a new downspout. They will charge you $700.00 before taxes to have it done and when you need it done ASAP, they will make you wait 2 weeks. Stay away from this business.

  Just had Trevor come out today and do an inspection of my roof. I will say he gave me so much info and also was very honest and explained everything to me so I would understand. I’m a first time home buyer so I’m happy with the info and service they gave me my roof is ok for this year but next summer I will be contacting them too do my roof very happy with them so far. Update never heard back from Jay the guy that I wanted too chat with after he quoted me on redoing my roof left him messages text emails this was months back I ended up going with another company cuz they refused to return my calls couldn’t wait for miracles.

  After the storm in August, my friends referred me to your company to get repairs done on my roof due to wind/hail damage. First I did the online free estimate and submitted request at the beginning of September. Knowing that they were busy due to the storm and etc but I received no call. A week or so I called on September 16th the office and again left name and number to set up someone to come out and give me an estimate. She took my information and told they are busy but someone will contact you. Still to this day haven't hear from anyone. It's such a disappointment when your friends say they had great service which I had no service. A call would have been nice.

You should have had a call back within 24 hours of the request and we failed to do that. We had an office meeting this morning and put a plan together so this does not happen in the future. I am truly sorry Trina that this was your experience with our company.

  Communication was subpar to say the least. 1) They were supposed to show up on a certain day, no show. I call in the afternoon to ask why they haven’t shown up, I get put on hold for 20+ minutes (long enough for them to come up with a story) then I get an “oops” type of excuse. They admit to a mistake of communication on their end then show up on another day. I’m a shift worker so that was a big inconvenience for me as I was in between night shifts the day the ended up showing up and got zero sleep before going into work that night because of how loud the the process is. 2) I found about 15-20 roofing nails around our house, on the driveway and one in my truck tire along with little pieces of shingles (a dozen or so) scattered around our house as well. Clean up was poor. 3) Make sure that you have the money put aside to pay for your roof work being done. To make things easy we were just going to pay by credit card and transfer the money to our card right away. To pay by credit card they charge an extra 3% of the total on your invoice. All that 3% is just extra money to put in their pocket. I feel bad for the people who that is their only means of paying for the work. That would add hundreds onto the final cost. When asked why they charge that they said “it’s in the contract.” Yes it’s in the contract but hidden under “convenience fee.” However they do accept cheque or e-transfer which we did e-transfer. What place doesn’t accept credit card? Just another way to squeeze a little more money out of the customer.

  Sorry for the communication issue. As for the credit card issue, the bank charges us a fee on the total taxes included which averages out to 3%. It goes directly to the bank, not into our pockets.

  I want to share my latest experience with wheatland roofing. I understand that when there is a bad storm, everyone is busy. But when a company does not show up after a number of calls promising to be there that is not good customer service. I saw this companies truck at my neighbours and thought I should ask if they were here to look at mine too cause I was in their list. This individual was extremely rude and hostile. Told me he didn’t have time to look at my roof and if I didn’t like it I could call someone else. Well that is what I did and the reason for this review is to let everyone know that they should call someone else. They are not interested in our business.

  Although initial communication and set up of the our job was decent, once the work began the quality of their service dropped significantly. The crew took long breaks daily, threw cigarette butts in our yard, didn't clean up nails very well, forgot tools, and exhibited poor workmanship in many places. Calls and texts to our representative about unsafe practices (not tying off) went on deaf ears, keeping our anxiety high hoping no one would get hurt at our house. Lucky a couple good 'inspector' type employees came to fix all our issues and they admitted the crew screwed up in many areas of the job. This crew was 'the best crew' as per our representative at Wheatland which now makes me shake my head and laugh. And to end our relationship by arguing over your miscommunication is petty. Glad the boss knows the importance of customer service Update: Now my roof is leaking in 2 separate areas causing drywall damage! I have contacted a company that has properly trained staff and I’m very happy with there services. I have to pay out of my pocket I’m not happy.

  I would not recommend this company. The previous owner had the shingles done on my house the year before I moved in. The next year shingles started flying off my house. I phoned them and they would not cover the warranty because they said if there is winds over a certain KM warranty is void. Yet other people in my area that had shingles done recently are not seeing shingles come off the house like mine. I had to phone another company to come and fix the issues.

  Dakota from Wheatland Roofing came out to redirect the downspouts over my walkway and gate, also adding gutter guards on the garage. Dakota did an excellent job! He was very friendly, knowledgable and made sure I was satisfied with how the downspouts looked before securing them. I would definitely recommend Wheatland Roofing.

  After the hail storm we needed our shingles replaced, and we also wanted to list our home. Wheatland was great as far as getting us scheduled in quickly and they were always very responsive going back and forth to get everything sorted. This is the second time we've used them and we would highly recommend them!

  Wheatland 's technician was very professional and pleasant to deal with. He replaced several hail damaged roof vents, including one that was not on the work order and fixed some other problems. He sealed several possible squirrel entry points into my soffits and found an old nest the pest control inspector had missed. I recommended Wheatland to my neighbor. I would ask them to reshingle my roof any time.

  Excellent roofing company from the estimate to completion. The whole crew were professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of our property. They completed the work efficiently and paid close attention to detail. The finished roof looks fantastic, and everything was cleaned up before they left. I would definitely recommend Wheatland to anyone needing roofing work. We will definitely be contacting them again next year when we its time to replace our eavestroughs. We are looking forward to another seamless service.

  I had a great experience with Wheatland Roofing. Hayley was very responsive in all of our communication. Wheatland was willing to take on a small siding and downspout repair job that other companies wouldn’t even quote on. The appointment was within the time frame they initially advised. Dakota was on time (early actually) and so friendly! He proactively pointed out some issues in my yard that were completely unrelated to the work he was there for - like a wasp nest I was completely unaware of! It's the attention to the little jobs that make me more likely to call them for the big ones - like when I will need my whole house resided in a few years.

  I had a really difficult insurance case and Andrew at Wheatland Roofing was so helpful and patient when my insurance company was giving me the run around. Once the claim finally came through he and his team got the job done quickly and efficiently. They also respected my neighbour's needs as they needed to use their yard a bit. I cannot say enough about my positive experience with Wheatland Roofers. My roof and dormer have been repaired and looks great.
