West Coast Roofing & Construction

The only one or two-star review we hold for West Coast Roofing & Construction.

West Coast Roofing installed our new and expensive roof in 2005. I was willing to pay a high cost for quality and the 20 year guarantee. During the winter storms of 2016-17, our roof leaked. I reported this to West Coast roofing via phone calls and emails. West Coast Roofing has NEVER once returned my phone calls nor answered my numerous emails. I will now NEVER recommend this company to business associates and friends. I am shocked by this absence of professional behavior and not honoring their commitment to a customer.

Thanks for your review Metta. The company that installed your roof is not West Coast Roofing & Construction. We took over the phone numbers for West Coast Roofing Inc. that closed their doors and stopped doing business in 2010. Ownership and License number are not the same and West Coast Roofing & Construction did not take over any warranties or liability from the previous company. Your roof was installed in 2005, West Coast Roofing & Construction started in 2010. I received previous calls in regards to installations done prior to 2010 and informed them of this. We have done our best to help these customers out. It is unfortunate that they went out of business and were unable to fulfill their warranty. Please understand that we are not the company that installed your roof.

I was referred to Alex by a trusted contractor I had working on my house after discovering a leak in the roof. Alex showed up quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem with the roof, presented me a couple of options for repair. His solution included going a few extra steps to ensure we wouldn't experience the same roof leak again. His pricing was fair and the most important thing was that he was able to start the job within just a couple of days. Five days later, our roof was fixed just in time to beat the next big rain storm. His quick response time really saved our home from more damage. I cannot thank Alex and his team enough for the quality work and initiative. Hopefully I don't need a roofer again for a long time but if I do, I will be contacting Alex again.

West Coast Roofing did an outstanding job on a total replacement of my 38 year old DecraTile roof. Alex (the owner) was great to work with including discussing options before and during construction. His crew was professional, knowledgeable, showed up everyday as scheduled and kept the job site clean. I strongly recommend this contractor.

My roof leaked after some recent heavy rain so, I contacted Mario at West Coast Roofing to get a bid to replace my existing asphalt tile roof. Mario was polite, knowledgeable, and very responsive. His estimate included several options and …

Looking for a metal roof? Look no further. I interviewed a lot of roofing companies and I ultimately found the best. Afraid of the lack of reviews and mediocre rating? I was too but no longer. Alex White is the owner. Great guy. While he uses other roofing materials as well, metal roofs is his specialty. Both the roofing manufacturers recommend him. Alex didn't see the value in reviews like Yelp, and thus didn't invest in making sure he had good ratings or lots of them. He's changed that philosophy now for his business. My new roof is great and he was very easy to work with and reliable. His price was great too. Clay tile roofs break easily and I was sick of dealing with that. This roof looks great and after several days of rain, it's still dry inside. He also came out immediately a few weeks ago when I thought I might have a leak. He went up on the roof and in the attic. He found the leak, but it was my water line and sprung the leak, not the roof. He didn't have to do the extra work to determine where the water was coming from after he looked at the roof, but he did because he's a stand up guy.

We are very happy with the excellent job Alex and his team did on the installation our new metal roof. They do fantastic work that they stand behind. I only wish I could find other contractors as honest and efficient as West Coast Roofing!
