  I had WeatherTek out this summer to replace all the siding on my house. The work that was completed was very good. The siders who came out were wonderful and did great work. There was a small issue with the gutters but when I brought it up they took care of it right away. My low star review comes from the lack of communication. At the beginning we thought we would be waiting about 4-6 weeks to have the siding come in to start the project. Turns out it took 4-6 weeks just to get samples of the color I already approved. That was not relayed to us that we had to wait that long for color samples of colors we already approved. I asked the salesman if there was going to be any issue with the exterior light fixtures. They said no and then told me if I was planning on replacing them they can just leave them on the step and they will hang them for me instead of putting back up the old ones. I thought that was a great idea so I left them on the step. Turns out there is a separate permit that needs to be pulled for them to do that which they aren't able to do since they aren't electricians. I wish they would have just told me that from the beginning. Because now I can't get my final inspection passed until there is a electrical permit pulled for the light fixtures which Weather tek can't pull. So I am now having to finish the project myself by going to the city and pulling the permits myself. I'm glad I have the knowledge to replace these fixtures myself otherwise i'm not sure what a regular person would do if they aren't capable of fixing this mistake themselves. I'm guessing they would just be left with a house that can't pass its final inspection. This is my first bad review i've ever written in my life and I feel terrible for leaving it. I just feel there could have been more effort or different information given to me to prevent me from being in this spot of having to do all this work myself. Although, it's tough to hear, this is the type of feedback that helps us, and our team strive for doing better. Please know that we're here for anything you need and want to be your first trusted choice for additional work in the future. If we pinpointed one primary area you've mentioned we have failed, it would be communication. Our standard protocol for electrical items is to have a licensed electrician pull the permit along with the proper installation. In the event a homeowner would like to install themselves some cities still require a homeowner permit to be pulled. I hope this helps clarify, and know we appreciate your business.

  Good work from what I can tell so far. Had some issues with correct work not being done originally. Was basically ignored by the project manager after that and was offered that without my knowledge would have been a complete rip off for work done. They did after my rejection redo the job correctly.

  Steve was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He handled everything with insurance, all work was completed quickly and to a high standard. Steve was very responsive and always let us know what was going on. We will definitely return for future needs! Highly recommend.

  Following a hail storm in our area, we were referred to WeatherTek by some friends who used them for roof replacement and had great results. We are so thankful that we called them! Their lead project manager, Steve Hoke, came out and inspected our roof, gathered Information and evidence of our damage and submitted it to our insurance company immediately. Following approval of our claim, Steve returned and brought samples of shingles and colors to choose from. Roofing day could not have gone more smoothly. The roofing crew was very pleasant and worked quickly and efficiently, completing our beautiful new roof in one day. Some of our family members came over to observe the process and were also very impressed. Following their workday, the crew totally cleaned everything up. Steve came back the next day to observe the finished work, and used a huge magnet to search our lawn for any stray nails. The time and attention to detail that we received from WeatherTek was definitely noteworthy. We were more than satisfied with their staff and work, from start to finish. People have walked by our house and have commented on how wonderful the roof looks. We highly recommend WeatherTek and would gladly use them with any future needed repairs.

  WeatherTek has been a pleasure to work with. I needed repairs done to my fascia and soffit, Steve inspected and provided a quote very quickly. He was great to work with and the quote was reasonable. They are also honest, they won't try to scam you into extra work that isn't needed. Everything is explained clearly/thoroughly throughout the process. The repair was done within 2 weeks of the initial inspection and they did a great job. I will be going to them for all of my exterior needs.

  I highly recommend WeatherTek Exteriors. They are without a doubt a Top Tier contractor that will exceed your expections! We had a large window in our living room fail due to storm damage. The window manufacturer highly recommended that we call WeatherTek for the repairs and it was one of the best decision we made. The original window turned into a much larger project after further inspections uncovered extensive damage to other areas around the exterior of our home. WeatherTek diligently worked with us to help expertly navigate the entire process from beginning to end. Our home has been fully restored and upgraded beyond our expections. My wife and I cannot thank Jerry and Steve enough for their expertise and professionalism throughout the project. Additionally, Mariah in the office and their field crews are all fantastic professional people. WeatherTek is a contractor you will have for life and will not hesitate to refer them to family and friends!

  Jerry gave us a bid to replace the siding on our house. He was very accommodating by showing us what our house would look like with the new siding. None of the other bidders did that. After selecting WeatherTek Exteriors for the job, they started working almost immediately. The "tear-off" and installation went very well. The finished job looks fantastic. Thank you, WeatherTek, for a job well done. I will definitely use them for any jobs I may have in the future.
