  We saw a guy from this company park in front of our driveway and point to our house and mock us for having a "no solicitor" sign. They were doing some ambulance chasing for roofing in the neighborhood after a mild hail storm. No way am I doing business with a company with that kind of attitude.

  Ashco Exteriors was hired in 2023 to perform roofing repairs on a residential property. The sales efforts were forceful and came to fruition after trespassing on private property and entering through a privacy gate. A 'Work Not Doing' form was completed and provided to Tyler Sandies (sales for Ashco Exteriors). Among the items listed as 'Work Not Doing' is the drip edge on the house. This item is placed first on this list and specifically indicates that the Drip Edge (House) is to be excluded. On 4/2/2024, an email was received from Beth May (Ashco Exteriors) indicating they did in fact replace the drip edge on the house. Per the Minnesota office of the Attorney General, Minnesota law requires contractors to reduce all contracts and change orders to writing and to include the following: 1) A detailed summary of the services to be performed and 2) A description of the specific materials to be used or a list of standard features to be included. Whether or not an item is required by code, a change order must be produced. Ashco Exteriors did not provide or produce a change order as required by Minnesota law. Ashco Exteriors also did not communicate any additional work needed or performed with the property owner, which is also required per Minnesota law. Construction change orders are documents that detail the addition or removal of work from the original scope of a project that was agreed on by the contractor and their client prior to any work being done. A change order must be agreed upon by the two parties relevant to it prior to any action being taken. The party who proposes the change in the contract language in the first place will detail the exact scope change so that they can be signed off on by the other party. If a change order is not produced/provided and agreed upon, and does not clearly state what both parties need to act on and creates a sense of uncertainty and confusion, it makes the contract null and void, per state law.   One of their black ford pickup work trucks almost ran 3 cars off the road on this nice Thursday morning, was honking and everything.. right on central. my thought would be maybe do that road rage shit in your own vehicle. Not looking good on your company.

  Poor experience with Ascho unfortunately. Had a wonderful experience with their sales team, however when it came to actually completing the work and communication with customer service and billing, it has been a complete disaster. Will likely not be hiring this company again for any future projects. Does appear they contract out work crews so perhaps the crews working on my house were an anomaly (so many nails and trash in the yard, damaged screens, cut wires, broken light fixtures, destroyed gardens and landscaping to name a few). The poor communication and inflation of costs from their management and billing departments is dragging on and has not been a smooth or enjoyable process.

  We had storm damage on our roof. Our insurance company was trying to get away with only paying for a patch job with shingles that wouldn’t match our current roof. We literally had shingles blown off the roof. Hunter Heggerston & Ashco put in the work to get State Farm to replace our entire roof. They helped us throughout the entire process. Once we were approved for the new roof, it was completed 3 days later, impressive to say the least. The crew that came out did a great job from start to finish. To say we had a great experience in an understatement, we had a fabulous experience! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use Hunter & Ashco again for any future needs. If you’re having trouble with your insurance company trying to cover your loss, call Hunter & Ashco, they have the knowledge & experience to get it done!

  Great company and great roofing crew! Tyler made it an easy and uncomplicated process of picking out shingles and gutters for our house. The roofing crew was fast and quick with the install, and did an amazing job with the cleanup! Perfect experience for our first roof installation!

  Working with Trent Harold was amazing. His knowledge and expertise were top notch. His work crew was efficient and professional. Years ago we worked with an independent contractor who took days to finish the work and it was poorly done. We had bat living under the shingles! Now everything is sealed and it looks beautiful. I loved how he worked with our insurance company to help file the storm claim.

  Dave at Ashco Exteriors went above & beyond to resolve the questions we had with billing language and pricing. He checked back with me several times with answers about our claim. Beth got an adjusted invoice out to me the same day. Great team effort to all who have been involved with our claim.

  I didn't hire the company, but I am remodeling a house that they re-roofed for a previous homeowner. They were super helpful with looking up the color shingles that was used, and where I could buy more of it, even though I'm not hiring them. I'm planning to reach out to them in the future.

  Having to replace the roofs for an HOA can be a stressful and complicated process, but Trent Herold from Ashco Exteriors made the experience as smooth as possible. From start to finish, Trent was professional, knowledgeable, and consistently went above and beyond our expectations. Trent and Jamie even attended one of our association meetings to personally meet with homeowners and explain the roofing process, answer questions, and help everyone feel informed and comfortable. Trent was incredibly responsive, replying to emails promptly and providing all the information we needed to navigate the insurance claim process. He kept us updated every step of the way and communicated any changes or new information as soon as it became available. The level of service didn't stop once the project began. Trent and his team was on-site during the roof installation, and another Aschco team member returned the following morning to perform an additional magnetic sweep and ensure the property was thoroughly cleaned up. Trent Herold and Ashco Exteriors were a pleasure to work with. Their professionalism, communication, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend them to any HOA or homeowner in need of roofing services.

  Ashco, and Joe Quam in sales, really helped me in a pinch. My roof sprang a sizable leak from my damaged shingles at the end of fall and they were able to squeeze a new roof into there schedule before winter. The really saved my home!
