After receiving the invoice for the repair the agreed to let Watkins repair. After the work was done, we were charged more that the invoice. We did ask about the charges and was told the extra charges were in the agreement we signed.

Thanks for the review Mr Cobb! We sincerely appreciate your feedback and can see how adding the permit fee to the final invoice could be frustrating. We do everything by the book and the City Of Madison requires a permit to do repairs and roof replacements in their town. It was stated on our contract that reimbursement of the fee would be included on the final invoice. We hope you are satisfied with the repairs we performed! This review has been taken into consideration and we will see how we can improve moving forward! Thanks!

I had an excellent experience with Watkins Construction Company for my roof replacement. From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly responsive. They completed the work quickly and were always available to answer my questions throughout the process. What impressed me most was the level of customer service. They kept me informed, made the entire process easy, and made sure I was satisfied with the work. It is refreshing to work with a company that is dependable, responsive, and truly values its customers. I am extremely pleased with my new roof and the overall experience. I highly recommend Watkins Construction Company to anyone needing roofing services. Excellent work and outstanding customer service from beginning to end!

Holden worked w/ my and my mother’s (lives across the street from my neighborhood) insurance companies claim adjusters vigilantly to get our roof replacements approved. Once approved he worked with us on choices we had for the new roof (shingle color/gutter color). On new roof day, they arrived early and worked until finished - 1 day. They were professional and cleaned up well after completion. Use Holden for your roofing needs - he’s great! 5 stars!

The most professional company from start to finish. They were spot on with their time of arrival and went straight to work. Brice kept me informed throughout my entire installation and made me aware of any changes or add ons that had to be done. I would definitely recommend this company for any roofing needs. Finished the job and did a very thorough cleanup after the install, making sure to remove all debris. I am a very satisfied customer.

The work performed looks great! Quality of work reflects the detail applied to the project of replacing the ceilings of the porch after the completion of the roof ( which also looks great). Thank you Watkins!

We searched locally for a company to replace our 24 gauge standing ridge metal roof which was damaged in the ice storm Jan 2026. We eventually found Watkins out of Ridgeland. Jeff came to evaluate our roof, took measurements and pictures and explained everything to us to our satisfaction. Stephanie emailed and called us weekly with updates regarding weather delays which was much appreciated. Matthew texted us the night before installation and he and his team arrived promptly the next day and worked hard for the next 2 days to complete the roof. Keeping us updated on progress daily. All workers were pleasant and did a great job of tidying the yard upon completion. Matthew came back the next day to make sure everything was completed and tidy. He took many pictures and forwarded before and after pictures to us. Highly recommend Watkins Construction and Roofing.

Thank you, Gillian! Glad Jeff took the time to walk you through everything upfront, and that Stephanie kept you in the loop through all those weather delays. Matthew and the team sound like they went above and beyond, daily updates, a clean yard, and even coming back to send before and after photos. We appreciate you trusting us with the roof after a rough start with that ice storm.
