Showed up to give a quote for a repair, broke the solar pool heater on the roof, said he did not do it, then left. Later admitted he did it by accident I assume because he was/is not familiar w solar heaters.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the experience you had with our team. It’s unacceptable that the solar pool heater was damaged during your quote, and we understand how frustrating that must be. We strive for professionalism and care in every job, and it’s clear we fell short in this instance. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will address this internally to ensure our team is better prepared in the future. If you’re open to it, we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further and make things right. Please feel free to reach out directly. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to regain your trust. Best regards, Vortex Roofing

Had Vortex replace my roof after storm damage and they were great start to finish. Showed up when they said they would, fair price, and the crew cleaned up after themselves. The father-son operation gives it a personal feel you don’t get with the big companies. Highly recommend.

Summer storms in Florida can bring heavy rain, strong winds, hail, and even hurricane conditions, so preparing your home ahead of time is very important. Start by inspecting your roof. Small issues like loose shingles, cracked tiles, or worn flashing can quickly turn into serious leaks during a storm. A professional roof inspection can help catch problems early so they can be fixed before bad weather arrives. Clean your gutters and downspouts to ensure rainwater flows properly away from your home. Clogged gutters can cause water damage to your roof, siding, and foundation. Trim trees and remove any weak or overhanging branches near your home. Strong winds can break branches and cause major damage to your roof or windows. Secure outdoor items like patio furniture, grills, and decorations so they don’t become dangerous in high winds. Inside your home, check your attic and ceilings for any signs of leaks or water stains, which could indicate roof issues that need attention. Taking these steps now can help protect your home, prevent costly damage, and give you peace of mind during the summer storm seasonMay 11, 2026Call now
