  I contracted with Talco Construction to do my roof in Sep 2019. While initially the salesperson was attentive, once I committed to the work, her attentiveness declined. I had to follow up on the permit and scheduling, and have them come back out for additional clean up of debris. After the roof was done, I had to contact her to adjust the bill for the 2 pieces of plywood she had promised at no charge. I didn't bother with writing a review at that time since I was happy with the appearance of the roof. Fast forward 4 years (2023) and I noticed some fascia board was falling off the side of the house. We found dry rot wood underneath. I reached out to Talco asking that someone come take a look. I contacted them first by email with pictures, and then 5 times by phone between June to July 2023. There was no response to the email but by phone the very nice admin told me she delivered the message and was told someone would call me back to schedule a visit. No one ever returned my call. Unsure how water was getting to the wood underneath the fascia or if there was a more serious problem, I contacted my homeowners insurance. That adjuster came to inspect the damage and roof. The adjuster deemed the dry rot wood cause to be shoddy workmanship; perhaps not replacing wood that should have been replaced during the roof installation. There was no current leak. This is when the 5th call was made to Talco to deliver the adjuster's findings and again ask that someone come out. I never heard from Talco. Fortunately for me, the adjuster also found hail damage from the May 2023 hailstorm and authorized a new roof. The dry rot wood was limited to 3 feet of wood and was repaired with the installation of the new roof in August 2023. I also question the quality of the shingles installed by Talco in 2019 that could be damaged by hail that wasn't severe enough to ping our car parked in the driveway during the hailstorm.   Betty Gomez, I have to say that i am very shocked and disappointed with a few things regarding your rant. 1) Having an issue with my company you never reached out to me to discuss this. 2) you were made aware of unit pricing for any and all additional work and signed acknowledgment of such. 3) upon finding the large quantity of rotted wood my employees called you ASAP to inform you of what we were finding. 4) our sales rep told you that the office has the video and you were welcomed to request it. We run an ABSOLUTELY HONEST business and if you think I’m willing to risk the reputation I’ve spent almost 2 decades building over $1,800 you’re mistaken.   Not a big fan of Talco. They came out 2 years ago and did a repair on my tile roof. I had a leak entering the garage through the attic above. I now have another leak 5 feet above the one they repaired along the same slope over the garage and at the flashing where it meets an upstairs bonus room. Of course my first call was to Talco to have them out for an estimate and yes, a discussion as to why we didn't repair the flashing/sealant 2 years ago as so much of the cost of a repair is the "job cost" that cover transportation, permits, administrative etc. A nice rep came out and we found the source of the leak, and chatted about why it didn't all get done the first time. About 3 days later I received a voicemail stating that "The guy who does tile for our company has been promoted to manager, and we don't really have another tile person, so you might want to get some other estimates" So apparently Talco doesn't do tile roofing anymore. I'm anxiously awaiting their website update because as of today they are still apparently roof tile experts according to that website.

  The group was very thorough and professional on the repair of roof. Did a great job with consulting and ultimately executing on the repair. Took care of the repairs and did all the little things right like dealing and caulking. They were a pleasure to do business with

  We made a great choice when we selected Talco for our new roof. The salesman was patient and always followed up with any questions I had; the install was efficient ; the warrenty was the best of all the bids I had received. I strongly endorse Talco roofing!

  Talco helped me out every step of the way on my roof replacement with my hurricane claim. No pressure, no trying to get me to do an “Assignment of Benefits”, and I got a quality product for my roof. Joe, Brian and the office staff at Talco we’re just super accommodating!!

  Word cannot describe how amazing Talco is! Their quality of service and professionalism is above the rest. From start to finish we were valued as a customer always updated of the process and when it came down to getting our roof done it was done quickly. I definitely, highly recommend Talco for any roofing jobs you may have. I do need to mention that Trina is absolutely gem! She answered all my questions and would respond quickly to ant calls or text. She gave us the confidence and peace of mind that we were talking to the roofing company. I also want to give a big thumbs up to the crew that worked on putting the new roof on. They were respectful, punctual and efficient. Talco as a whole are true professionals and a company you can trust! Finally, the roof looks gorgeous! We are absolutely in love with it! Well done Talco! Thank you so much!

  Talco Construction recently installed our new roof and we couldn’t be happier. Our experience working with their salesman Ron was a pleasurable one. Not only a great guy but very knowledgeable. Everything was completed ahead of expected schedule and quality of work is superb! We love our new roof!

  We had a great experience with Talco Construction. Our Sales and Marketing Manager, Brian, was well knowledgeable, willingness to work alongside our insurance agent, and was quick to respond to our concerns. The Talco team worked well together to get our roof completed in a timely manner. We are extremely happy with the results.
