We had a terrible experience with Vigil Roofing. They quoted us just over $13K for to reroof our home. After demo'ing the roof, we were advised that our roof had numerous issues and that all the wood and fascia needed to be replaced. We were told this would cost an additional $28,824 for recommended repairs or $19,910 for adequate repairs. This is on top of the $13,328 we were originally quoted. The representatives from Vigil, Thomas and Sean, used high-pressure tactics to try and get us to continue with the roofing project and misinformation about the permitting and inspection process. We were vulnerable because we did not have a roof on our home. We visited the city inspector office who clarified the information provided to us was incorrect. We advised Vigil Roofing we were pausing work so we could take a look at our options and ended up hiring a different roofing company who completed all necessary work for just a couple thousand more than the original quote from Vigil. A total of $5,500 was paid to this company from a deposit and a first pay point. I have tried to mitigate this issue with the company through BBB but have not been successful as of today. Rafael, the owner of the company initially advised me that his company had not entered into a contract with us for a roof or done any work. He later noted that he allowed a former employee to use his license and that he was going to reach out to that person to issue a refund to us. We have not heard from him since 7/16/2026. We have not received any form of refund. I caution anyone considering using this company.

Rafa is super easy to work with and very responsive. He gave me a great price for some work he did on our gutters. The work was done quickly, with care, he provided me with pictures when he was done and he even came out and did the work for us on the weekend! It was a pleasure working with you, Rafa!

I want to express my deepest appreciation for the exceptional service and kindness I received from Vigil's roofing company. Not only did they repair my roof with outstanding professionalism, but they were also the first company I've encountered that truly understands the human side of service. What really impressed me was their proactivity -- They didn't waste any time and jumped right into the job, addressing the issue right away. It's great to find a team that combines top-notch skill with genuine care for their customer's needs. The workers were not only excellent at their craft but also went above and beyond to make the whole experience as smooth as possible. Their kindness, understanding, and work ethic made a real difference, and it's clear they take pride in doing more than just a job -- they take the time to ensure you're well taken care of. I am incredible grateful to have worked with such an incredible team. Truly an outstanding company with an unbelievable level of dedication and heart. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Rafael for roofing repairs but after evaluating my roofing problems and meeting with several other roofing companies who DID NOT do repairs, I hired him to reroof the entire roof and replace the vents. Rafael and his crew are very professional, courteous and respectful. He did exactly what I asked and was reasonable with his charges compared to other 5 star review rated companies. Other companies will charge 3x the actual city inspection fee and one I dismissed simply because the estimator was arrogant and rude. I can't say enough good things about Rafael's character. Not perfect but who is? I never had a problem with him calling me back or fixing minor issues. Thank you Rafael!! No more roof leaks!! All the best to you and your family.
