We are having trouble with mold and condensation, after years of roof replacement. They "missed" adding a ridge vent the first time around, and we had to pay to get it done. The problem has not resolved itself. They came back and wanted to …

While I am unsure as to the quality of their work. I can comment on their two employees who made homophobic comments towards me at Home Depot yesterday while wearing their Bob Piva Roofing uniforms. These two GROWN men made several comments …

Hi Joshua, we apologize that you had this experience. By no means is it a reflection of our company and we can assure you that these individuals do not work for us nor have they ever been employed by BPR. We give out many shirts to the general public. We hope that you understand and if you have any additional concerns please contact our office.

Requested roofing estimates for several properties. No response, even after two follow ups. We've given Piva a lot of business over the last several years, so I am disappointed this is the level of service we're receiving lately.

Hey James, we’ve looked you up in our system and have no record of you. If you could give us a call at our office the number is (760)745-4700. It could be possible that you have the wrong Piva business as there are multiple businesses under owned by our family members in San Diego.

Talk to your employees about how they address others when they are wearing your name.

Hi Alyssa, we regret if you have had a negative experience with someone wearing one of our shirts or hats but as noted above, we give out many hats/shirts to people (that do not work for BPR). Unfortunately we have no control over these individuals and hope that you understand they do not represent out company.

I called the office last month and setup an appointment on Dec 18, 2023 between 10 am to 11 am for an underlayment roofing estimate. I was told Brian would be coming out. No one showed up, and no phone call whatsoever. I even canceled my …

Incredibly poor communication. After difficulty with scheduling, the crew arrived today (3 hours late) without knowing what they were supposed to be fixing!?! Do not use this company. They have an excuse for everything as youll see in the response.

  Reply from the business

We provide customers with a one-hour window for our crew to arrive, typically from 8 to 9 am. In this case, the you contacted our office at 9:45 am, concerned that our crew had not yet arrived. By 10 am, we responded, explaining that our crew had been delayed due to a car accident on the 15 Freeway, and they would be arriving shortly. By 10:40 am, the crew had indeed arrived, but unfortunately, unforeseen issues arose, leading you to decide not to proceed with the work. Consequently, we instructed our crew to return. It's important to note that no work was carried out, and you were not billed for any of our services. We are sorry you were not interested in our services and we hope we did not inconvenience you in any way.

I had referral to Bob Piva roofing....and reviews looked pretty good. However, after making three inquiries about re-reroofing my home without response, I have concluded the reviews must be bogus. If they cant return phone calls or emails.....good luck if you need warranty work.

  Reply from the business

Hey DT, I can assure you our reviews are not bogus. Sometimes we get more calls than we can even handle when it is the busy time of year because people know we’ll do the job right. We’ve been in business for 60+ years because we do our best. My apologies you slipped through the cracks.

Bob Piva Roofing recently completed roofing my house in Escondido. They did an excellent job at a fair price. I found Dale and his team professional and yet personal in all communications. They completed everything as contracted and described. Thank you

Prompt. Professional. Courteous. Clean. Thorough. Just some of the words I can use to describe the service I received from Piva Roofing. Even my wife commented on how professional and courteous they were. I will not hesitate to use them again. They did things that the builder should have done 25 years ago. Ours leaks are now gone and I feel confident that the repairs they did will outlast me. Not one spec of trash or debris was left behind when they finished. I thought that the days of professional work by people who cared were gone but Piva Roofing proved that there are still some great companies out there!
