They wouldn't even take my call. They hung up on me twice. Now their number is disconnected. Seems like this place might be fake!

Elias and his crew did an excellent job on our roof replacement and new gutters. The roof looks great, and the whole house has a much cleaner, well-kept look now. We compared several roofing contractors, and this team gave us the best value, solid workmanship, and dependable service. Elias provided an honest estimate, explained the roofing process clearly, and kept in touch from start to finish while working around our schedule. With rain in the forecast, the crew moved efficiently and completed the tear-off and roof install the same day, making sure everything was properly sealed and protected before wrapping up. That gave us a lot of confidence in their roofing work. They also installed the gutters with care, and they look great and perform much better than the old ones. The clean-up was thorough, and the property looked better when they left than when they arrived. Overall, we are very happy with the roofing and gutter work and would highly recommend them.

Our overall experience was excellent from start to finish. Raymond came out to help us fix problems left behind by another roofer and was honest, professional, and dependable from day one. He stayed with us through the full insurance claim process, met with the adjuster during each visit, and took the time to answer all our questions clearly. Even though the roofing project had a few challenges at the beginning, Raymond made sure every part of the job was handled the right way and followed through on everything that was promised. The roof replacement and gutter installation were completed quickly, within the expected timeline, and the crew took great care to protect our home, yard, and driveway during the work. We are very happy with the quality of the roofing service, communication, and cleanup. The new roof and gutters look great, and the whole process felt smooth and well managed. We would gladly use this roofing team again and highly recommend them to friends and family.

Vargas & Sons Roofing & Remodeling was excellent. They gave us a fair estimate for several roofing items that needed repair and replacement. With any roof tear-off, there are usually a few unknowns, especially when checking how much roof …

Raymond, owner of the roofing company, along with Elias and the whole roofing crew, were outstanding. This is one of the best roofing teams I have ever worked with. If you need a roof replacement or gutter work, these are the people you want handling your home. When the roofing project began, an unexpected rain shower moved in. The crew acted fast to tarp the roof and protect everything. A small amount of water still got in, and at first I was concerned. But every person I spoke with was professional, reassuring, and honest about the next steps. They did not avoid responsibility or make excuses. Instead, they handled everything the right way, made the needed repairs properly, and went above and beyond to make sure the job was finished correctly. Their customer service was excellent from start to finish. The team clearly takes pride in their roofing work, pays close attention to detail, and aims for high-quality results on every part of the project. After the new roof was completed, Elias went up, took photos, and walked us through the finished work so we could see the quality of the shingles, flashing, and overall installation. This roofing crew is rare to find today—skilled, responsive, and committed to doing the job right. I would gladly give them 10 stars and highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing or gutters.

raymond was the best to work with. Before picking a roofer in Evanston, i got several roof estimates. raymond was the most friendly and the only one who took time to meet with me, look over the roofing system, and clearly explain what needed to be repaired and replaced. Other roofers mostly stopped by, checked the house, and later sent a quote without much detail. When i had questions, raymond answered them himself instead of sending me through an office line. He offered a very fair price, strong roofing materials, and solid workmanship. I also asked about a few extra items, including gutter screens and some small exterior details, and he only charged for the materials. elias and the crew were quick, organized, and professional, and they finished the roof in one day while keeping the area clean. After the roof was completed, we had a stretch of rainy weather in Evanston and i noticed what looked like a leak mark on the garage ceiling. i was worried it might be related to the new roof, but raymond came out the next day, checked the attic and crawlspace, and carefully inspected the flashing, shingles, and surrounding areas. He followed up more than once to make sure the source was found. In the end, the issue was not the roof at all, but old caulking around a window that needed to be replaced. raymond removed the worn caulk and sealed it properly at no extra charge. I really appreciated how responsive, honest, and helpful he was through the whole process. The roof work was done well, the communication was excellent, and the extra help showed real care for the customer. i highly recommend this roofing company for roof replacement, repairs, and gutter-related work.

the crew from vargas & sons roofing & remodeling showed up right on time and were very polite throughout the whole roofing project at my home in evanston. elias made sure to communicate with me every step of the way, especially when they found some rotten plywood under my garage roof. they worked easily with my schedule so i could coordinate with the gutter guard company. the materials they used seemed top-notch and their prices were really fair for the work done. i appreciated that they were honest about the roof’s condition—they even said i could wait a few years to replace it, but i decided to go ahead anyway. this company is nothing like those folks who go door to door with fake photos. i highly recommend them if you need roofing work, they truly deserve five stars!

Raymond was fantastic to work with on our roofing project. We needed a new roof installed for some home buyers who were very particular, but Raymond handled everything with patience and professionalism from start to finish. He made sure to deliver the shingles in the color we first requested, and when there was a last-minute change, he quickly swapped them out for the new choice without any hassle. Raymond also managed all the insurance paperwork, which made the whole process so easy for us—we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Whenever I had a question or needed an update, he was always available by phone or text and responded right away. The workmanship on the new roof was top-notch, and the whole experience went smoothly. I’m really happy with how everything turned out and will definitely reach out again for any future roofing needs.

I can't say enough good things about the quality service I received from Vargas & Sons Roofing & Remodeling. When I first started looking to replace my roof and update the exterior of my home, I spoke with several contractors. Elias was the only one who could identify the exact roofing style I liked just from a photo. He even drove by another home to double-check the shingle type for me. While the original material was out of my price range, Elias suggested a great alternative and helped us achieve the look we wanted for our home’s new exterior. The pricing was fair and communication stayed clear from start to finish. Materials were delivered right on time and the roofing work began as scheduled. Raymond and his crew handled everything—tearing off the old roof, installing new shingles, replacing soffits, fascia, gutters, and downspouts, plus updating our shed’s roof—all in just a matter of days. They took care to address every concern I had along the way. Throughout the process, every question was answered and every detail was handled with care. It’s clear this crew really cares about their customers’ satisfaction. I highly recommend giving them a chance to earn your business. My experience was excellent and I hope yours will be, too.
