after years of dealing with roof runoff and cleaning clogged gutters several times a year, we decided to upgrade to a better roofing and gutter protection system instead of the old open gutters that came with the house. we spoke with a few local roofing and gutter companies in Evanston and wanted something that would move rainwater off the roof properly while helping keep out leaves and debris. we chose a covered gutter system because the materials felt strong, the price was fair, and the overall value made sense. the estimate process was very well done, and everything was explained in a clear and simple way. jermaine was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to, with no pressure at all during the visit. he walked us through how the gutter guard system works with the roofline, downspouts, and drainage, which gave us a lot of confidence. i really wish we had done this sooner. after seeing the system handle normal rain and roof water flow, we feel sure we made the right choice. it has already given us peace of mind knowing less maintenance will be needed, and it is also a nice feature for the home if we ever decide to sell. if you have a serious leaf and gutter clog problem like we did, this roofing and gutter solution is a smart call. lucas and the crew delivered exactly what we hoped for, and the value was excellent.

What a great job on our roof and gutters. This was the second roofing project they completed at our home, and the whole process was explained step by step from the first inspection to the final cleanup. Lucas was on site and made sure everything was done just as requested. We are very happy with the quality of the new roof, gutter installation, and the overall workmanship. The crew worked efficiently, finished on time, and kept the property clean. Our home looks much better now, and we feel confident knowing the roofing system, flashing, and drainage were installed the right way. We are extremely pleased with the results and would gladly recommend them to anyone needing roof repair, roof replacement, or gutter work in Evanston. We would definitely use them again for future roofing needs.

I want to give a big shout out to this roofing company. After two other contractors could not solve our roof leak, this team correctly found the problem and completed the repair the right way. They also did a great job matching our shingles …

Lucas and the crew at Garcia Family Roof Repair did an outstanding job on my roof. The large roofing team showed up early, protected the property, and handled the whole roof replacement with real care and skill. Everything was done efficiently, and the workmanship looked excellent from start to finish. I’m a big fan of their service and would gladly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work. Later on, I noticed a second-floor downspout had come loose from the gutter on a section that was not part of the original roof work and was likely unrelated. I called to ask if someone could come out and reconnect it, even if I had to pay for the service. They quickly offered to send a crew over and take care of it at no charge. That kind of follow-up and customer care really stands out, especially after the main roofing job was already completed. I highly recommend their roofing service.

Jermaine and his crew installed a metal roof on my home, and after plenty of rain, wind, and hail, it still looks perfect. I’m very happy with it and would absolutely choose the same roofing material and the same installer again. I got …

A few weeks ago, I found signs of a roof leak and called around for a few roofing estimates before choosing Garcia Family Roof Repair. The price was not the lowest, but the inspection was much more detailed than the others. Lucas showed up prepared with roof photos, notes about the likely problem area, and a clear explanation of how the water was traveling into the house. Before we even walked inside, he pointed out where the leak should appear on the ceiling, and he was exactly right. On the repair day, Jermaine arrived on time with all the roofing tools and materials needed for the job. The work moved quickly and was finished in a little over four hours. Everything felt organized, professional, and well handled from start to finish. Even though I cannot see every part of the roof myself, I feel confident the repair was done the right way. After dealing with a stressful leak, it was a relief to work with a crew that understood roofing, found the issue fast, and fixed it efficiently. I would definitely recommend them for roof leak repair and related roofing work.

I reached out to Garcia Family Roof Repair after seeing several missing shingles along a ridge on our older roof. A neighbor had shared a good experience with a full roof replacement, so I wanted to have them inspect ours as well. I also spoke with two other roofing contractors for comparison, but their inspections were much more limited and basic. Jermaine gave the most thorough roof inspection by far. Instead of only looking from the ground, he got up on the roof, checked the problem areas closely, and came back with a large set of photos that clearly showed what needed attention. He found cracked attic vents, worn pipe jacks, loose shingles in a few sections, needed hip and ridge repairs, and an exhaust pipe that was not fully secured. He also pointed out that the chimney caps were in rough condition and suggested painting the exhaust pipes so they would blend in better with the roof for a cleaner finished look. What stood out most was how honest and easy the whole process felt. There was no pressure to buy a full roof replacement, and he clearly explained why repairs were the better option for now. The estimate was detailed, fair, and easy to understand, with each roofing item broken down so I could make the right choice for our home. Good roof maintenance can help prevent leaks and extend the life of an older roofing system, and that is exactly the kind of practical guidance I was given. I decided to move forward with all of the recommended roof repairs, and the work was completed on time with excellent results. Communication was strong from start to finish, the cleanup was solid, and the finished roof looks much better and feels more secure. I highly recommend them for roof repair, ridge shingle work, vent replacement, and detailed roofing inspections.

Jermaine and his crew did excellent roofing work. Even with the usual challenges in the roofing trade, they arrived as scheduled, worked safely and efficiently, and were easy to have on site. The job area stayed clean and organized at the end of each day, which made the whole roof replacement process smooth and low stress. The new roof, including metal roofing options and standard shingle work, was completed with real skill and solid craftsmanship. You can clearly see their experience in the flashing, installation, and overall finish. I would strongly recommend them to anyone in Evanston looking for a durable new roof or a reliable roofing contractor.

Jermaine was very helpful and quick to respond through the whole roofing process. I highly recommend this roofer and would gladly use them again. After a strong wind storm, several shingles blew off my roof. I had three roofing companies come out for estimates, and two of them said the whole roof needed work. It was hard to even get simple repair estimates from those two, and their pricing was oddly close to my insurance deductible. Jermaine was the only one who gave me a fair and honest estimate for the roof repair. He also said a full roof replacement could be an option, but truly recommended the repair route based on what the roof needed. They got a crew out within just a few days, completed the shingle repair, and the roof looked like the damage had never happened. Very honest, professional, and helpful from start to finish.
