Do NOT recommend. Had a leak in their siding they were supposed to resolve and they didn't. Instead, informed me the issue was with a window. Imagine my surprise after thousands in new windows: problem still persists. Window contractor returned and was able to prove issue is with either the siding or flashing: not the window. VanWeelden instead of owning up to their mistake and making things right pawned me off on another contractor under the guise of being too 'busy'. Use at your own risk.

Sorry we couldn't make you happy. You had us out in May of last year as you had a leak around window above an addition. We had worked on this same area for the previous homeowner in 2019, and advised that the original window needed replaced and the flashing around that window would need worked on and replaced at the same time. We are not able to get to this right away, so Michaela referred you to someone that should be able to help.

I submitted a request on line for a quote and didn’t hear back. I then called and requested a quote, but was never given a call back.

Brad has been generous with his time in helping us solve these issues. We appreciate that he's jumped in to work with us on both the leak and replacement shingles. We're making progress on a very difficult leak and he's connected us to Owens Corning, who has agreed to replace the shingles for us with a prorated refund. Appreciate your help, Brad!

Hi Steven, We are sorry to hear about your disatisfaction. I looked into this and it appears the roof was installed in February of 17 due to the construction schedule which isn't ideal for shingles to seal-but the schedule did dictate install. We were back after a storm in July of 18 after a storm and patch a couple of shingles and some ridge cap. We were not aware of the discoloration issue-our photos at time of completion did not show that. It is very obvious in the photos you attached. Unfortunately we don't control the manufacture/or the shipping if lots were mixed. If you would like to contact us directly we would be happy to try to help get a claim going with the manufacturer/distributor to see if there is a warranty/remedy we can work towards together. Thank you. 7/7/26-Steven-as mentioned in previous response 9 months ago-feel free to email our call our office directly and we would be happy to help facilitate a claim....we have not heard from you-or missed you. The photos of water you posted were during construction and before the exterior envelope was closed and all penetrations were flashed-so really aren't representative of any current or unresolved issue. Your builder would also have the necessary information to work directly with you and Owen's Corning as well if you prefer not to work with us. Your roof is 9 years old and has been through multiple large storm events so likely is due for some light maintenance outside of the discoloring issue. Some contact information would be helpful-we contracted through your builder so do not have your info. We do not have your phone number or email which is why we asked you to call in. Or you can just continue posting your side and threats through google reviews-it just isn't solving anything.

The team at VenWeelden Roofing wowed us from start to finish. Matt - the Production Manager we worked with - walked us through a detailed and line itemed quote step by step. He kept us updated on when our re-roofing project would start and …

Matt’s communication and customer service were outstanding from the start. The roofing crew worked incredibly hard (in wicked July heat!), completed the project on time, and did an excellent job cleaning up. We highly recommend Van Weelden for your roofing needs.

Worth every penny! DaVinci shingles are beautiful and Brad is an amazing communicator! I usually never respond to these kind of surveys, but in this case it would be wrong not to.We almost took a different route in order to save a few bucks. I remember my husband said, "Do we really need to have the best of the best shingles on our roof?...doesn't it all end up looking the same?" The practical, money-saver that I am submissively agreed. Then we took a long walk around our house and started driving through neighborhoods, paying special attention to everyone's roofs. I started to take mental notes of what I wanted and didn't want in a new roof. From a design perspective, I loved how our current cedar shakes looked and the DaVinci shingle was a close match. My husband wondered what kind of work crew would be willing to handle some other nagging issues on our roof (like removing the dish and working with our contractor for better ventilation). We soon realized that a lot more goes into a new roof than what we initially thought Let me tell ya, those few bucks we almost saved? It would have been the stupidest savings ever! Now that our new DaVinci shingles are on, I can't stop staring at how gorgeous our roof looks. The crew was the most hard-working, efficient crew I've ever had the privilege of partnering with. I hope whoever reads this takes the time to carefully weigh their options and considers working with VanWeelden Co.

We had moved into a home in November and by January we were experiencing water damage and ongoing issues with our deck. After receiving three local bids from James Hardie preferred contractors, there was no question we felt the most comfortable going with Van Weelden Company. Since we had resided our last home with James Hardie cement board, we had some ideas of how we wanted the process to go. Any expectations we had were beyond exceeded by Matt and his crew. Everyone was kind and courteous. We frequently had questions and they were always answered promptly. The communication was stellar - we had an initial timeline, I knew when each crew was going to be present (siding, deck, gutters), and Matt would personally check in regularly on site but was also available via email and text. This experience was even enjoyable, watching our house transform as each detail was considered and addressed. When the time comes for roofing or any other exterior need, we will absolutely be going with Van Weelden Company with no hesitation or reservations. Of note, our neighbors went with one of the other companies for some exterior work a few weeks after us. Her unfortunate stories and overall experience confirmed we made the absolute right decision in choosing Van Weelden Company.
