  Editing my original post- After the first issue we had with the initial install, they came back to audit the work that was done and I thought everything was OK. A few months later we discovered the exhaust to the hot water heater had been knocked out of place during the roof installation. The pipe had been moved during the original installation so it was not possible to reattach without going up on the roof and repositioning the pipe. Carbon monoxide had been leaking into our attic for months. It's very frustrating that they not only missed this with the first crew but also missed it with the crew that came to audit the first crews work. I am grateful nobody in my family was hurt. They are a very nice family business to work with but their crews need to be more thorough in making sure their work was done correctly. Universal did a wonderful job on our roof and project. We ran into a small hiccup with the job but they handled it promptly and professionally. They were fantastic to work with!

  Just look at the pictures and Run Away from this company!. We hired Universal Roofing and restoration to replace our roof and what we were left with was shingles actually falling off the roof, a yard full of nails, dead shrubs from shingles thrown on them and roof vents that have fallen off our roof in the middle of small storms. On top of that they damaged our gutters and we had to pay to replace them. We have reached out multiple times and cannot get a call back from them. Of course a company like this is going to come in and deny it...

  These are false reviews Our office has not received any calls ! He is upset because he’s the owner of hi-tech solar solutions and is upset because we posted a review on his business page he owes universal roofing more then 16k . We performed work on 2 roofs he installed solar and it has been months and he hasn’t paid us. They refuse to answer us or even pay the debt . Please contact our rep who reached out to you !

  Very unprofessional company. I signed the contract to do the roof claim. After inspection from claim adjuster, Anthony/“another female” both Went MIA. I never heard from that, I never received any email or phone communications. I signed the contract last year November. Last email I received was in January 2020. I tried contacting them on May 2020. Of course, I haven’t heard from them. Very unprofessional and lack of follow up. I wouldn’t recommend there service. UPDATE 3:05 PM, OCT 21, 2020 I guess Anthony all the sudden appeared from the bunker after reading the review. Also, questioned why I wrote the review? Also lied about hiring another private adjustor. No one ever came to the property to the inspection, Insurance company didn’t receive any documents from private adjustor. This company is a joke. I would never do business with them even if it’s FREE. “DO NOT CALL” to justify your unprofessional behavior.

Your insurance didn’t want to approve your roof and that is not in our control . We wish they would have approved your roof replacement but we can not make them pay for your roof.   Fair pricing, professional service, definitely our new go-to for roofing issues. Updating our review. I’ve had them bookmarked since they repaired our roof in 2023, so they were the first people we called when we decided to get our whole roof replaced. We received quotes from two other companies, but Universal beat those quotes by 10% and offered us the exact same product. When they came out to start the work, they made sure that everything that needed covering up, like our landscaping and AC unit, were protected and when they were done, they made sure to clean the entire property of debris and nails. They even installed roof ridge vents that had been sealed over when the roof was redone after Hurricane Ike at no extra cost, which was an additional charge with the other two companies. There were a few minor issues in mice the crew left, but they took care of them with no charge less than 24 hours after the work was completed. And they’re family owned and operated, so they put a lot of pride into not only the labor, but customer service and follow-up as well. Shop around and you’ll find that no one beat Universal in terms of price of quality of service. I highly recommend this business, and once you sign on with them, you’re in very good hands.
