Wanted to get a roof leak fixed. They said they were going to visit to give a quote and then they ghosted me...

I did not do business with this company after getting a $325 base + $75/hour quote just to show up to start work on possibly finding a leak. In Chico, In town. This is not an off-grid property 100 miles from the nearest road. This is price gouging. I kept calling other vendors and got Affordable JC roofing to go out-they went for free, found the problem-same day, and are working on what repairs are needed to stop the leak. for a price less than the cost of the visit by 'tugwell' not sure what they are 'tugging' but im never suggesting them!

Be aware: I made a call to have someone come out and look at a leaky roof on an all metal building. If you can believe it... they wanted $350 just for the basic charge to …

I am thoroughly impressed with Tugwell Roofing. When they performed the initial inspection they were professional and honest, answered all our questions. They provided 3 seperate quotes so we could choose the option best for us and our budget. Due to the roofing demands facing CA currently we had to be scheduled out approximately 4 months, however we're told it could be sooner if a slot opened up, which it did. They were able to get our roof started a month sooner & were finished in 3 days. It would have been 2 days had it not started raining the 2nd day, even then they worked for 2 hours in the rain before it was too cold. The crew was fast, efficient, polite, & professional. They even took care of the permit and inspection for us.

NIck came to my home an performed a very professional and thorough inspection of my roof. He was very helpful by pointing out small things that could be done to improve the longevity of the existing roof and was extremely honest about there being no need to do any repairs. I will be recommending Tugwell to friends and family.

These guys did a great job starting from calling to request a quote through cleaning up after themselves and to be honest after me. They left my yard in better condition in one area than it was when they came. And my roof is amazing and beautiful.

I worked with David Covington and staff at Tugwell to have insulation blown into my attic in Chico. David was prompt, responsive and professional. The team got the job done quickly and within my deadline, and left my home clean. Would recommend!
