  Check the local building codes! These guys will absolutely take your money for a building you cannot insure.theyll look you right in the face and tell you "we don't do permits" while standing next to 100k worth of personal vehicles. They're just a middleman. You're better off ordering direct from the parent company. You can do everything Tyler does on the computer from your phone at the parent company website. That way your deposit is only 10% and you can take your time getting it exactly how you want it.

  Leo, We are so sorry your entire experience wasn't stellar. We are so confident that we offer the best service in the business that we normally can beat any price out there and we will refund 100% of any deposit for 30 days or if your permit is declined and that guarantee that every building meets all applicable building codes. We also provide free professional and personal permit assistance if needed. Direct factory purchase and most of the other dealers will not offer a down payment refund or any permit assistance unless you pay for it. Also most other dealers do NOT offer this same quality of service so please consider this review with the small amount of weight it deserves. We have never had a customer unable to insure one of our steel fire resistant buildings so we can only guess that this customer's insurance problem has to do with either his insurance company (many are leaving the state) or his location and has little to do with our fire resistant steel buildings or local building codes which we are always required to meet. He quotes us as saying "we don't do permits" and this is blatantly false. We offer every single customer personal permit assistance and would never discourage permitting so we wish he had been honest in this review. We offer far better service than going direct to the factories and as an authorized dealer we have $0 mark up on our buildings and the factory will offer little to no help with permitting and asks us as their #1 authorized dealer to do the heavy lifting for them. If you wish to buy a simple carport then the factory is probably just sufficient for you but if you wish to order a garage, a barn, a wide span shop or a fully customized building from someone with experience that you can always reach on the phone then you're best to call us.   Tyler was absolutely amazing. We had a few hiccups while in the process with installation. However, Tyler went to bat for us and followed through with making sure we got what we paid for. Excellent job on his part. Tyler was above and beyond a sales representative. WE would do it all over again

  From the moment we arrived at Ideal Steel's office, we knew we had found the steel building dealer for us. Tyler spent a great deal of time with us designing our building, answered all our questions, offered design suggestions we hadn't thought of and followed up with timely emails. Ideal Steel treats their customers with care and respect. Our 30' x 50' building was manufactured, delivered and erected on time, and the finished product exceeded our expectations.   Great business to work with, everything went smoothly! Tyler assisted us with the inspections and the permit as well. We had no idea how the permit worked, Tyler made it very easy. He and his construction partners were amazing! The building looks great!
