  Avoid this company. I was given an estimate and told it could change once the roof tiles were removed. After the roof tiles were removed, they determined they did not need to replace any wood or use the plastic roof cement included in the estimate. I repeatedly requested an updated invoice to remove the unused materials, but they refused to revise the charges. I could not understand why I was expected to pay for materials that were never used. I never expected such outcome. When I disputed those charges, they sent my account to collections. I’ve attached the email documenting my concern so others can review the facts before making a decision.

  Hello Miguel, Thanks for sharing your experience, although it’s a bummer to see it wasn’t a great one. When we work with third party home warranty companies, like your home warranty company, there is a co-pay that is required to be paid by the clients. Modifying invoices or scope of work can be tricky, as we have made mistakes and created issues with our vendors by attempting to revise an invoice without a matching signed agreement.   Dishonest company, they complete initial estimate and if items are no longer needed once entire scope of work is realized, they still want to charge you for them. Go elsewhere to avoid the headache.

  I hired True Roof for a roof inspection when purchasing a new home. Their price for the inspection was reasonable and they were available. They passed the roof and didn't note any significant issues. Two months later after moving in the roof leaked and not just a little bit. I then had a contractor out to bid the repair and he said there is no way he would have passed the roof, it is in terrible condition and patched together roof tape and patch. If you need a roof inspection, I would not call True Roof, call a licensed contractor or someone who will be honest and not just collect a fee.

  Just did our roof inspection with true roof. They did not note broken roof tiles during our roof inspection. It was not a thorough inspection. We just closed escrow yesterday and had a roof leak and now we are paying for it.

  This company was assigned through American Home Shield warranty, person came to check, didn't go in Attic to check the leak, didn't go on top of the roof to check the leak. Just flew drone to check and found no leak, even though showed ceiling with wet spots. Very Unprofessional.

  Manjesh, Our inspector arrived at your home to assess a leak after being dispatched by American Home Shield (your home warranty company) to assess your leak. Upon arrival, our inspector was informed by a family member at your home that your handyman had already fixed the issue, and that our services were no longer needed for the roof repair. You were not present at the time of our visit. Our inspector called the office and informed our management that your roof had already been repaired by others. The inspector was told to not continue the assessment as our dispatch would be canceled with your home warranty company. The entire interaction was relayed to American Home Shield, which resulted in your claim being denied as you used a service provider from outside of their network. The determination to cover or deny your claim has nothing to do with our company and is solely a decision made by your home warranty company. I understand that your deductible for the claim may have been collected by your home warranty company, so you perhaps feel as if you didn't receive any value for that transaction. We understand the need for you to make repairs as quickly as possible, however, leaving a negative review without having received services from our company is disheartening, especially after being told that we are not needed for the repairs. Leaving out key aspects of the site-visit is also a bummer, but we understand that this may have been a frustrating experience for you. We hope you can take in account your decision to have your handyman fix your roof ahead of our site visit, and your family member informing us that we were no longer needed. We hope you can see this message and understand that the negative review impacts our company more than you likely understand.   We had our roof maintenance completed in the first week of December 2024. The people who came out to do the actual labor were amazing. They worked quickly and efficiently and didn’t mind at all when I pointed out that they had missed a spot under an eave as they were getting packed up. They got right back on their ladders and fixed the issue without any complaints. I can’t say that I enjoyed dealing with the people in the office over the phone. Apparently only one person in the office was authorized to talk to me about our deposit on the work or the final payment and they were never in when I called. They would only talk to me via email. It took a long time to get a date for the work scheduled and there was a mix up with how much we owed, the wrong amount was given to us on our invoice. The work done was amazing, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

  Bueno Andrew, Did you take this photo with your phone while you were driving? On our side, we have forward facing cameras and accelerometers in the vehicles to monitor every employee's driving. There weren't any alerts for abrupt maneuvers on the Samsara Fleet Management System (computer system that sends a log any time someone has a near-accident or abrupt turn/stop), and nobody was injured. Thank you for the quality photo of the truck with the new logo. Photo skills are top notch!

  I was told my roof cleaning would be today between 8-2. I called and confirmed this timeframe this morning. It is now 4:30 pm. No call, no text, no repair. Nothing. Not even a courtesy call if they were running behind. This is horrible …

  True Roof is a great company that does amazing work. Very good communication throughout and quick to come out and fix the issue. Price was fair and the quality of work was excellent. Odis was awesome and really helped me out in a tight spot and went above and beyond when he didn’t have to, just incredible customer service. And Chris is who I spoke with the most and he is a great guy as well, great communication and down to earth. Again, amazing company, amazing people, they have my business for life.

  True Roof has serviced many of our properties. Although we are quite a distance from their more central service area, this did not affect their ability to provide timely service. They were always punctual, courteous to the tenants, and the speed and quality of their work were truly impressive. I will certainly continue to use their services and highly recommend True Roof to anyone seeking a new roof.

  I am preparing our home for painting and discovered the need for some facia repair/dry rot that needed to be addressed prior. I sought quotes from four roofing companies, including True Roof who was suggested to me by a reputable local contractor. Chris Fogg completed our estimate. He was friendly, professional and thorough. He addressed my areas of concern, saw some maintenance items other companies noticed and found some additional items that could be addressed. He told me I could likely find someone to do it cheaper, but assured me True Roof would do the job right. I really liked that he was honest and sincere and provided drone images and itemized pricing for the sought repairs in addition to the optional maintenance that could be done. In the end, we went with True Roof as their quote most thoroughly indicated what specifically would be done and for a specific price. All staff who came out were friendly, respectful and professional. I received messages/reminders to let me know when they would be coming out to complete the work. They were prompt and appeared to work well as a group and as individuals on various tasks. They addressed each area of concern from the initial inspection, confirmed places were either sound or if repairs were needed, and let me see what was exposed when I inquired. They even remedied faulty work that had been previously completed but the builder and roofer that did insurance work. Once repairs and maintenance were completed, they cleaned up after themselves, and let me know they were finished, confirming I was good with no questions or requests. During the job, I had occasion to speak with Chris and Odis Dehart. I found the conversations pleasant. Both are professional and committed to providing quality services for a fair price. Both are busy guys, but neither rushed as they spoke with me. They were knowledgeable of my job and needs and left me with no doubts about the job being done right.   True Roof recently completed a new Presidential Roof on my home, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The service was prompt and professional, and the crew was extremely conscientious about protecting our surroundings- especially the pool area. Each day, they made sure everything was thoroughly cleaned up before leaving, which I greatly appreciated. I worked directly with Chris Fogg, who was responsive and attentive throughout the project. Anytime we had questions or concerns, he got back to us right away, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend True Roof to anyone considering a roofing project. We love our new roof!

  Odie and Chris came out to give me a second opinion on my dry rot repair quote. Since I just bought the house I wanted to make sure I fix what needed to be fixed. They took the time to explain how they will do the repairs, how they take photos along the way and how they add additional flashing to help prevent future repairs in the same area. After receiving several quotes, they were the most competitive with the scope of work. Once I approved the quote, they had me on the schedule within 5 days to perform the work, which I thought was fast. Since it took another contractor a over a week to even get me a quote. Miguel showed up first before the rest of the crew and began working. Extremely nice and professional. I brought them out waters and they were all polite and actively working. Miguel came and asked me if I had the paint on hand and we found some that was left with the house. To be clear, they were just going to treat the wood and prime. I did not pay to have them paint. He went above and beyond and said he wanted to make sure it matched the house. Little things like that make a huge difference, folks. Great customer service. I will definitely be using them and recommending them to everyone that needs roof work done. Around 3pm they fixed and primed/painted all the dry rot areas and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be happier with the work performed. In total, I was only able to find 4-5 nails/screws on my property. In my eyes, that's amazing. They would have to had walked around with a magnet to find them. Thank you Odie, Miguel and Team!

  True Roof was awesome. They are all about flexibility and service. I think I changed my mind about the roofing IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PROJECT about a dozen times. Odis was calm and professional throughout all my indecision. The crew was great, too. When they left, my yard was spotless… not a shred of old shingles or nails. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated their work and their prices; unbeatable in my humble opinion.

  Everyone I dealt with during the reroofing process was great. From getting the quote, answering my questions, performing the work and even the payment process was smooth and very customer friendly. They went above and beyond in getting the roof done in a small window around storms and exceeded all expectations.
