Absolutely fantastic company! Reasonable prices, quick turnaround, no non-sense, and professional. Cary was outstanding and explained the process clearly. No surprise this company keeps busy...but be patient, it is worth the month wait, trust me! Edit: Company did not do the install of my rubber roof correctly. Had another company come out and they said that there were many mistakes made. It seems these mistakes caused the rubber roofing to come up, and not the "raccoon" damage. The owner's brother was not responsive when I asked for pictures to be sent to me. I'll be looking elsewhere for future work and I suggest you do the same. They send out constant emails trying to bribe you to review and refer to friends.

Reece, after reading your edited review, we reached out to our manufacturer's representative and went over your project with him. We shared a bunch of photos, our scope of work, material list, drawings, etc. with him, and he verified we did install your roof correctly. Since you state in your review that another company said we did it incorrectly, we went a step further and had our manufacturer's rep put us in communication with their technical department, and we went over your job again with a gentleman that specializes in how the manufacturer's products are installed. That gentleman also said we installed your roof correctly, so whatever company told you that we did not is incorrect. As our tagline, Done Right! suggests, it is of the utmost importance that we install our work properly, and we do a lot of trainings and certifications with our employees to ensure that happens. If we make any mistakes with our installs, due to our warranty, we return, free of charge to correct any errors. It is extremely clear in these photos from your roof that the damage was made by some kind of animal and is not due to improper installation techniques. The bite and claw marks are completely visible here https://app.companycam.com/galleries/AqfMwcmP and damage like that is not something that would occur if a roof was improperly installed. When we came out to inspect the roof and discovered animal damage, we installed temporary patches over the affected areas free of charge to you to keep water out of your home until we could prepare you a proposal for the necessary work to permanently fix the areas and return to do said work. The animal damage is not covered under our warrnaty, but because we care about our customers, we performed work for free on home. You can see the photos of the temporary patches we installed for free here: https://app.companycam.com/galleries/a9nwtZdu We apologize that David did not respond to your request for photos. It is not acceptable, and we have taken

Requested somebody to come out and view my property for possible damage to my roof and gutters! Somebody came out pretty quickly so I was convinced they had found a decent company to do the work for me. Of course the follow up communication was great until I signed the contract!Had to follow up several times because Water was coming into my house due to damage on a back gutter. Every time I had to call and email to get an answer .... We finally got them out to do the work and the work was not completed as per the contract!!! I only knew about this because my adult children were at the house when the work was done . I left a voicemail and left a message but never heard back!! I text somebody who had text me from the company and they quickly followed up to apologize and said that they would get the rest of the work scheduled!!!! I quickly responded back. I had signed contract. That's what I agreed to have done and that the work was not done properly and I was not going to wait several weeks for the rest of the work to get done! The only reason I knew it wasn't done was because my adult children pointed it out. Had they not been there, It would've been weeks before we were able to inspect and find out that they didn't do the rest of the work promised!!!! I went on yelp specifically a company that was easy to work with great with communication and would get the work done ASAP ! I am sad to say that I'm deeply disappointed and will not be using this company again ! I will not be recommending this company for lack of communication and for not finishing up the work that I signed a contract for !! I definitely would not use them for any services ever again !!

We are so sorry that you feel wronged. The proposal was signed on Saturday, 6/29/2024. We emailed you on Monday, 7/1/2024 starting at 10:27AM and continued communication throughout the day until 2:07PM. The color was confirmed, our payment requirements were discussed, which is half down to get you into our schedule and final payment upon completion, and our lead time of 4-6 weeks was discussed in detail. We let you know that we usually do not have an exact install date for gutters until a couple of days to a week in advance, but that as soon as we knew, we would be in contact. The work order was sent over for scheduling on 7/1/2024 at 2:07PM after the color for the gutter was confirmed and the half down payment that we require to get jobs into our schedule was paid. The signed contract that we received was for a back gutter and gutter covers. The gutter covers were overlooked by accident when the job was put together. The half down payment for the work that we requested was only the half down amount for the back gutter. We did not charge for the gutter covers at all. Our scheduler’s hours are Monday-Friday from 6:00AM-2:30PM. We received a voice message on 7/10/2024 around 3:30PM from you regarding scheduling. We returned the call and left a voicemail letting you know our scheduler had an off-site meeting that day. Due to the meeting and our scheduler’s office hours, we were not able to get back to you the same day. A follow up text message was sent on 7/11/2024 at 7:03AM by us to you again, outlining our time table for scheduling. You let us know that you were taking on water. We let you know that we would work to fit your work in as soon as possible. We called you on Monday, 7/15/2024 and let you know that we had an opening on Tuesday, 7/16/2024 and asked if we could come and install. You said yes. The installer came out on Tuesday, 7/16/2024 and installed the scope of work that he was provided, which was for a new back gutter. A text message was sent on 7/16/2024

Despite the name, when I called for an estimate, I was told they serve only Porter County.
Reply from the business
Doug, we typically serve Porter, Lake and LaPorte counties, but unfortunately with the springtime being as busy as it usually is and addition of the recent strong storms that have rolled through the area, we are currently unable to keep up with demand. We’re so sorry we aren’t able to service your area at this time.

Elisa, we are very sorry that it took so long to get your estimate to you. We did email it over the other day, and while you received it later than expected due to us being so busy, you did receive it. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused you.

Freda was EXTREMELY happy to say they don’t serve Gary.

They should stipulate "serving Lake County" excludes serving Gary....

Very nice folks, but not willing to do the simple repairs I needed. Offered a whole new roof even though we are selling and there was no need for us to repair that in the inspection response. Wouldn't recommend for simple repairs. Frustrating that I wasn't told about their policy for simple repairs over the phone when I scheduled the estimate.

I live in an apartment building that contracted this company to repair the roof. I work late hours and for four days now they have been showing up at 6:45 AM and BANGING six feet above my head, blasting the radio, looking in my windows and then continuing for 9 HOURS. I am going to scream. I am ready to launch each individual roofer into orbit.

Rebeccah, we apologize that you were inconvenienced by our crew working on your landlord's property. Unfortunately, working on roofs is very difficult to do without being loud. In addition, our crews can only work during daylight, and they often work long hours to keep our production schedule moving as quickly as possible so that we can service all of our customers better. Your landlord did not inform us that you worked nights. If we had known, we would have made sure that our guys didn't have music playing while they worked so that it would have lessened the noise at least a little bit. The reason you may think the guys were looking in your windows, is that, in addition to the roof work, they were also installing soffit and fascia, which requires them to be on scaffolding, and in the pictures from this job, I see at least one window that is above the scaffolding, so I can understand why, with people working right outside your window, it may have appeared that they were looking into your window. However, all of the guys that worked on this property have been employed with us for years, and we have never once received any complaints about them looking into someone's windows. I am sorry if you got that impression, but I can assure you it was not the case. Again, we are sorry that you were inconvenienced by us while we were working on your landlord's property.

After these horrible storms I called several roofing companies to come tarp and cover my damage. Tri-county was the ONLY company to get back to me! Sara was quick to respond to my call. She was courteous and had someone out to tarp my roof the next day. Nick did an awesome job coving my roof damage. They were wonderful to work with!

The manager, Adam and his team did an exceptional job, removing the old roof roofing and putting on a new roof. They were very thorough with attention to the specific problems I was having. When they removed the roof, they did not expect additional issues with all of the wood rotted on the decking. They worked hard stayed until 8 PM the first night and the second day they were able to finish on schedule. I also thought the communication was very good from start to finish.

My sister and I live in a townhome in Crown Point and the roof was original and over 25 years old. Having previously used Tri-County when I lived in Valpo and being extremely satisfied with them I suggested we contact them again. Sara was wonderful and scheduled David to come out for the initial inspection and quote, he was beyond thorough and patient enough to explain to my sister about our roof condition. The estimate was done at the end of 2025 and we decided to wait on starting the work until sometime in Spring. Sara, the coordinator, was very understanding and when we were ready scheduled the work with true expediency. When Adam and his crew arrived they understood the importance of adhering to the HOA requirements regarding where to put their supplies without blocking our neighbors on either side of us. Both the home and garage were completed quickly and nothing was left to chance - even covering our plants on the patio between the home and garage to protect them. Their care and understanding were greatly appreciated! A special thanks goes to all involved and a callout to Adam and Sara for their exceptional coordination!!! We would highly recommend Tri-County roofing to anyone!!!
