  I called for an inspection and quote on my roof. The gentleman that was supposed to be at my house was late. Called to see if he was still coming out. A woman answered the phone and was very rude. Found out he was at my house but never came to the door to introduce himself and he was there. Did not inspect everything and left. That not professional and would not have them work on my roof.

  Our salesman Tucker was early to this estimate! He did try to reach out to you but failed. He DEFINITELY should have waited until appointment started prior to departing. I've spoken him at length about this issue but I do appreciate you bringing it to my attention. The woman on the phone was Naomi - I fired her for this. Just kidding, she's incredible but I wonder if it's possible the two of you just got off on the wrong foot that morning. Let me apologize for your experience and I would encourage you to circle around in the future, I do believe he have a great service to offer.

  Very glad this got your attention. This work was done by your your company. Hope to see all issues resolved.this chimney was not in this shape !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And when you do a roof you do have to flash around a chimney or else you have roof leaks. !!!!!. Thank you in advance for resolving the issues and hopefully Right !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Kolar Roofing you guys are completely unprofessional trash. Again. TRASH. I tell you the fact i might not involve my home owners insurance in my claim so you guys wanna deny me service? It took you 3-4 days to get me a quote to sit here and waste my time? You legit denied me services because i said “i might not involve insurance, as i am looking to get a quote to pay out of pocket.” You guys are literally trash.

  Hi Trevor, Tim here; I reviewed your file today - your salesman and your follow up contact were getting different versions of the same story. We're currently working a catastrophe event in Michigan City and so the vast majority of the roofs ARE covered by their insurance carrier. Processing a claim requires a bit of expertise and open communication between your adjuster, your contractor and yourself. Some of our customers aren't being transparent with us and so we are declining their projects! I'm sorry that has clearly offended you but the good news is - there is an abundance of roofing companies (in fact some of them are knocking on your door :) ) You would simply just pick one of the other roofers and their business ideals may align with your own instead of leaving nasty reviews for us. I wish you luck with your own small business.

  Hi Gege, We appreciate the feedback whether positive OR negative as it helps boost our SEO. Sorry your experience with Kolar Roofing wasn't great but there were a couple points to clarify; - Please refer to the initial repair quote regarding the chimney flashing on home - - - "Reflash lower chimney *Our counter flashing is to be lowered in the 4-6" range and the mason will resolve any brick issues above our flashing after the work is completed* Brown coil stock counterflashing to be used" - - - You were given the option to install a very large (not aesthetically pleasing) counter flashing OR to lower the flashing and then the mason to follow behind and resolve the brick issues above it. This was covered in full during our initial appointment and put in writing in your quote. Please refer to email correspondence dated - 4/13/22 @1:23 PM that Tim Kolar had been in touch with the mason regarding this issue. We DID in fact follow up. Our repair crew did miss 2 items on the initial scope of work and we resolved that issue in a timely manner. That was our fault - I'm sorry my installers didn't thoroughly understand this work order initially and I didn't cover it well enough on the day of the initial installation. Based on some of the other google reviews you've left for local companies I'm left wondering if you'd rather leave a 1-3 star review rather than reaching out to the vendor directly with any concerns? We fulfilled our initial scope of work on this job and resolved any issues that you had brought up to us in a timely fashion but if you have ongoing issues we would encourage you to please call the office. It has been quite some time since there has been any activity on your file. The last we spoke - there was a home inspector involved that flagged some flashing around the UPPER chimney that we never addressed during our estimate (per your request.) The upper chimney was not something you initially wanted us to work on so we never scoped for it or pr

  Hi Rodgerette, This is Tim the owner letting you know that we thank you for your review as it helps boost our SEO whether good or bad. I'm sorry that we weren't able to service you this season. I wanted to clear up some confusion that may have occurred during the phone call. 2019 has been an incredibly busy season due to the storms in the spring. Since we have been scheduling into 2020 for a few months now, for customers who would like a spot yet this year I am forced to screen their project by looking them up on google during the phone call. Unfortunately, I don't remember this call but I'm assuming the project isn't something we could've gotten to this year and that's why we passed on it in an effort to neither waste your time nor ours. We simply cannot take on every job presented to us. Many of our customers appreciate this full disclosure straight up front. I want to emphasize one point - there is absolutely no way that race nor the amount of money a customer has had any impact on how our conversation went. We have done jobs in every neighborhood for every race and economic status. The fact that race is even brought up in this situation is absolutely ridiculous and laughable. We talked on the phone not in person, there would be no way for me to know your ethnicity nor finances. If you aren't able to commission a roofing company this season being so late in the year, please give us a ring in the spring of 2020. Thanks!

  Kolar roofing is the best. There employees are very professional and get the job done right. They are very punctual and clean up as they were never there. We are very happy and glad we chose this company for our roof replacement.

  I cannot say enough positive things about Kolar Roofing. Wind damage ripped off shingles and they were here in a flash to tarp. More high winds loosened some of the tarp and they came out to secure the flapping which could have resulted in substantial indoor damage. Crisis averted. Then the entire new roof was installed in a day and cleanup was perfect. You can’t go wrong hiring them to do your roof!

  They were totally prompt. Their teamwork was wonderful. They cleaned up like nobody’s business not a nail. Nothing was left for me to do at all and Julian came around to check things out further but they did a wonderful job. Thank you so much.

  Kolar is the best. We needed parts of our sun tunnel replaced. It was a very hard job and difficult to do. The two men they sent were fantastic and did an excellent job doing the repair. Couldn't ask for anything better. I can highly recommend them. And the next time we need a new roof they are the only ones we will consider.

  Quick, responsive, and affordable. I had quotes done through a few different contractors in the area and their prices were drastically lower than competitors. Tim is very knowledgeable and professional.
