Very unhappy with the low level of competency shown by Johnathan and his helper. They claimed to have given me a deal at just under $800 to come install a gutter and downspout in fall 2024. The installations didn't last even one full winter! The pictures shown were taken in February and March 2025 after a heavy snowfall. I climbed up there myself and was disappointed to see these boys had done some shoddy work that shows a lack of professionalism and care: two tubes of gutter sealant were left discarded on my property, one sitting on a window ledge on the second floor above the porch, and the other in the garden; the gutter at the top wasn't sealed correctly, so it leaks at every single joint; there were holes and gaps at the top of the roof where previous roofers had failed to install counterflashing in 2021, and while Johnathan promised he had fixed them, you could see they had made a messy attempt at sealing them without actually fixing the issue; the downspout had been installed with an attempt at bending and twisting it to get it to fit at a certain angle, and it had now been torn clean away from the side of the house and from the entrance to the lower gutter guard. When I messaged them about it late this winter, the response was that they could come back out and install shingles over the porch to prevent heavy sheets of snow and ice from falling off my roof next time and tearing away the downspout - something that should have been done in the first place. I am not hiring these guys again and paying more money out of pocket for something I could likely do a better job of myself. I hate giving negative reviews, but this one is warranted.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 3 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 3, of which 3 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Tip Top Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
