I'm giving it two stars because the roof looks good, and the team was nice. However, I would not recommend them to anyone because of their process. If you don't mind finding roofing supplies and materials every time you walk in your yard, and don't care about your items around your house getting damaged, then I guess it's okay. But how do you accidentally hit an AC unit? It's a lesson learned that you don't always get what you paid for when you choose them over other lower competitors

Thank you for your review. I certainly apologize that we did not exceed your expectations. On the average roofing project, over 10,000 nails are removed from the roof. It is practically impossible to get them all. Our agreement specifically states this. With that being said, I have never had a customer ever pickup more than 100 nails and we think that 99% is a pretty damn good job. As far as the AC unit is concerned, it was my understanding that the damage was immediately reported to our project manager by yourself. The project manager met you and there was rust in the dent on the top of the unit. Rust cannot happen overnight. He thought you guys were agreeable about that until this review. Even though we have since then replaced the top piece of you unit, I would assume that you felt we did it because you have never noticed it. I won't portray we are perfect. We are not and things do happen but when they do we do our best to make them right.

Here's what you get when you hire Timbercrest! The owner will also threaten you because you wrote him a bad review! He "pays" for good reviews. There's plenty more horrible work on my home. This is just a glimpse. Don't spend $30,000 with Timbercrest!!

Good evening please reach out to me directly. 810-444-2107. It has been almost three years but I would be more than happy to address some of your concerns. The last email correspondence I asked if you would like me to come out and see if we could address some of your issues. This is your response “Yes I do and I don't.... The siding guys told me there was nothing they could do to fix this waved facia. That's my main complaint at this point. I understand I have an old house and things don't line up like they should.” Some of the stuff shown in your pictures I would appreciate the opportunity to address about half of the things that you think are so horrible are actually done very well. Those reasons can be explained to you on site Thank you, Ron .

Was very curt in the response that they were booked until August when all I was looking for was an itemized estimate for the insurance company. That is time sensitive and needed to be sent in before the claim is closed, I wasn't looking to schedule the job at that moment.

Good morning, yes you are welcome that we took our time to let you know that we are completely booked at the moment. We are extremely busy and are not in the business of writing estimates. The estimate you speak of is very detailed it takes an onsite inspection to create and photo documentation. It is done in a program and overall takes about 6 hours to write. Our team doesn’t have an extra six hours available. We wish you the best with your claim. Thanks Ron

EDITED: Dr. Phil Longstreet, I wish you would post some pictures so you would understand this specific situation. There was not added gutter to the system. During construction he asked if we could help with an issue (not part of agreement, not a paid for service, not in agreement). Where a gutter meets brick there is always a gap between the wall and the gutter and water always runs down this area because the gutter cannot catch all the water. My installer offered to place a flashing that would help get more water into the gutter. He threatened me multiple times with fixing it or he would edit his review. There is not fix to this but he clearly needs to seal the brick. The roof is not leaking. As far as customer reviews go, we give a credit to our customers that reveiw us online to apprecaite their time and efforts of an authentic reveiw. The same credits Dr. Phil Longstreet received for this reveiw. He quoted me Ron Eaton serveral times, here is a clip of my final reply to him: I will be the first to tell you...not all of my customers are right. I will never run a company that way regardless of a few ill words received as a result of it. In fact, my customers go to the bad reviews first but most can read through the bull. If you update your reviews, I will respond to them no differently than I responded to you. It makes them genuine and it is okay if we have different opinions. I will not be threatened by you to hold me hostage to repair things outside of our contracted scope of repairs period! Like you said earlier, you don't want to waste your time...I don't want to waste mine either and if it is not roofing related we will NOT warranty your issue. You did not hire us to fix gutter, caulking, or masonry issues therefore there is no warranty on these issues. I invite you to make a group discussion on this topic with your class. Let your students know I feel American businesses need a backbone. You can try to make my company look like trash i

I waited over 24 hours to only get a message... Good afternoon I sent you an email back we no longer have a repair technician on our staff and are not doing any repair or service type work are you looking for a replacement? Thanks Ron I did not get an email and mean while my room is leaking, but I guess no big deal to him! Never would recommend this place, I don’t know how they have a 5 star rating! Guess I won’t be going by that anymore! To reply back to you bashing me... just so everyone knows, everything I said was the truth, I have no reason to lie. I feel the proper way to get a hold of someone would be to call a person, then you know they properly received your message. I checked on Google to find a roof repair company, this company popped up and had great reviews, so I called the number. Everything I first said in this review is completely the truth. I called the number, the receptionist left a message for this man. I heard no response after a day, I called again and left another message. I went to the website to see if I could email and noticed there was a text number, so I texted asking the status of how long it would be for someone to come out. About 4-5 hours later I received a message back. This man proceeds to argue with me about him sending an email to me about not having a repair person. I told him and showed him, I didn’t receive. I searched his email and nothing popped up under inbox, spam or trash. I know how to use simple email and I’m sorry if your emailed didn’t get to me. But after you emailed me the first time and then, you received another message from the receptionist, why wouldn’t you wonder why I would still be inquiring about services and call me? It wasn’t until I texted you that you responded and five hours later you messaged me. I simply said as a friendly suggestion, ”you should probably call people instead of emailing so situations like this do not happen again.”That was the end of the first texting with him. The next message I got f

Tina, First off, if you would have went to our Roofing Repair section on our website you would have learned that that is not a service we offer. Here is the link: https://www.timbercrestroofingandsiding.com/roofing/roofing-repair Secondly, I responded as a courtesy to you like every other customer that contacts us to inform you. Below you will see the messages received and sent. If you would have provided your everyday email address, maybe you would have received it. Thirdly, I want you to know the responses were made to you while on my family vacation. Fourth, the following day I received a text from you in which I replied stating to you that I had emailed you and once again roof leaks and repairs is not a service we offer. Fifth, I am glad that we are not doing business with you. Based on texts and this review you would be a very hard person to please. "In response again to your latest edit, we will not be changing how we respond to our inquiries. You are 1 of 2329 inquires received in 2019 that was unhappy with how we responded. Your emotional response along with your assumptions have no merit. Using data collected from 2018 and 2019, our chances of reconnecting with a customer via phone is 54%, via email 84% (which calculates those without email), and via text 93%. From your suggestion however, what we are going to do specifically because you did not receive the email, is revise our website stating within the first 3 sentences that we do not offer repairs services. You should see this completed within the next 30 days. There is no reason why I should be nice to someone poorly reviewing my company because you did not receive an email sent. I showed you that I sent it. You are more than welcome to come see from my phone that I sent it time stamped and everything(although I already sent you screen shots showing you this). If you did not receive again I am sorry that is out of my control. My business is very personal to me and I think your revi

Timbercrest was awesome to work with from beginning to end. We would highly recommend working with them. We requested a quote to repair an issue we experienced with our roof. The company responded promptly and Tim (one of the project manager’s) came out and shared what he identified as going on with the roof. Ultimately we decided on a full shingle replacement. Tim kept us updated weekly until a team was available for install. We were having a challenge picking between two different colors of shingles. Tim brought us samples of each that we could hold them up against our brick and look at both from a distance. It helped us quickly make a final color decision. The install team was most respectful and courteous throughout the install. The ensured the shrubs and flowers surrounding our home were protected. We did not have a single flower damaged. The team worked throughout each day to ensure the roofing debris and nails were picked up and discarded. They also did a final walkthrough at the end of the day to catch any debris remnants and ensured the shingle grit was blown off our patio. The team did a complete tear off and replacement of the underlayment and shingles. They only took off the shingles from the area they were going to complete that day. This method prevented any bare wood from being exposed to the elements. (We did have rain one day.) The team shared with us any damage found with the existing wood and ensured damaged wood was removed and replaced. Tim also kept us informed of any issues and was present periodically throughout the install. We also have a flat section of roof on our home that had been shingled rather than covered with the proper flat roof materials. The wood in this section was quite deteriorated. It was replaced and the Timbercrest team used the correct materials to reroof this section. Our project manager was concerned about this area and worked side by side with the head of the install team to ensure the challenges in this section wer

I received quotes from three roofing companies, and Timbercrest offered a great price with the best warranty options. Tim at Timbercrest was the one who quoted my roof and was also the project manager, so we had one point of contact from the beginning until the end. When quoting, I mentioned that the chimney area on the addition of the house, a spot that didn't need roofing, was leaking, and he said they would take care of it at no additional cost. He also said they would vent the bathroom fan, which had been installed incorrectly, to the outside at no additional cost. Tim made sure to communicate with me every step of the way and showed me pictures during the roof replacement. He also listened to me throughout the process and made sure nothing was missed and everything was completed at the end. The roof looks amazing, and Timbercrest went above and beyond. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you!

We had some wind damage and had a few companies come out to give us estimates. We chose Timbercrest Roofing and Siding because we really liked Brian Eaton and the way he explained everything to us. He worked with us and our insurance company and helped us get everything done that needed to be done. He was very professional. The crew that came out was also fantastic. They worked hard, were very friendly, and also very professional. The cleanup was unbelievable, not a sign that they were even here. I would highly recommend them.

Timbercrest did an excellent job replacing our 20+ year old roof. Roof originally was worn from over the years and had several missing shingles from the last 6 months of windstorms. Price was average out of the 5 quotes we received. Customer Service was the main reason we went with Timbercrest - Tim Tipton kept us updated weekly, answered questions immeditately and took care of any concerns. We love our Timbercrest roof.

They showed up and were very knowlegable and personable. I got the best quote from them, but they are so popular and great at what they do are booked a little further out then I could wait. I went with another company only because they could start earlier. We would have picked them if it wasnt for the timing aspect. Again seems like a great company!

Ended up having an accident where car went into side of house and garage. Paid out of pocket. It was unsightly. However the misfortune turned into a new garage door. Brian was very helpful and responsive. He worked with my schedule and answered my questions. The hole in house got repaired and new garage installed. Both were a fair price. They both got fixed within the next week and were able to get both fixed the same day. I’m pleased with the results and would recommend this company to anyone.
