We had our initial consultation with Signature Home Pros on May 13, 2026. Not knowing when the work would begin for our new roof, a truck dropped off supplies on June 18th. The shingles were done on June 19th and the remainder work was …

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely appreciate you choosing Signature Home Pros for your roofing project, and we’re glad to hear you were satisfied with the quality of the installation performed by our crew. We do, however, apologize that your experience with our communication did not meet the standard we strive to provide. At Signature Home Pros, we pride ourselves on keeping our customers informed throughout every stage of their project, and it’s clear we fell short of your expectations. Our records indicate that we made multiple attempts to contact you throughout the project, but unfortunately, we were unable to connect or receive a return call. Even so, we understand that effective communication is a shared responsibility, and we regret that we were unable to establish the level of communication you deserved. Regarding the remaining materials, we intentionally deliver extra roofing materials to every project. This is standard practice to ensure our installation crews have everything they need to complete the job without delays due to material shortages. Any unused materials are typically collected after the project is complete, as they remain part of our inventory. As part of our quality control process, one of our field supervisors visited your property to perform a final inspection. He attempted to speak with you by knocking on your door, but when no one answered, he proceeded with the inspection to ensure your roof met our quality standards. We understand your concern that you were home and were unaware of his visit, and we apologize for that disconnect. We recognize how frustrating that must have been. Your feedback is valuable because it helps us improve. Communication is something we monitor daily, and we are continually refining our processes to ensure we exceed our customers’ expectations. We will use your experience as an opportunity to review our procedures for scheduling follow-up visits and communicating project co

After 20 years of hiring contractors, Signature Home Pros (SHP) is easily the worst company I have ever dealt with. I hired Signature Home Pros (SHP) to replace a picture window and install a new shed roof. While the roof was completed, the …

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience deserves a warning to others. I called this company out for what turned out to be a minor roof leak. Instead of a fair assessment, they came in with a quote of $46,000 for a full roof replacement. Then, the salesman said he spoke to the owner Steve and they could immediately drop the price by $8,000 if I “signed that day.” That kind of high-pressure sales tactic should raise red flags for anyone. It gets worse. They claimed my roof was 25 years old—it’s actually only about 10 years old. Not to mention he never even went on the roof. They also measured it at 66 squares, when in reality it’s closer to 50 squares. Those aren’t small mistakes—that’s a massive difference that directly impacts the price. I ended up getting a second opinion, and guess what? The issue was nothing more than a small nail puncture, which another reputable company fixed for $500 just two days later. In my experience, this company either lacks basic competence or is intentionally inflating problems to push unnecessary and overpriced replacements. Either way, I would strongly recommend getting multiple opinions before trusting them with anything. Homeowners deserve honesty—not scare tactics and wildly inflated quotes.

The quality of the roofing work itself may be fine, but the professionalism within this company is extremely concerning. There appears to be a lack of boundaries and accountability among staff, and the workplace culture feels very unprofessional. It’s hard to trust a business when leadership and employees don’t seem to maintain appropriate conduct on the job. I would recommend the company focus on improving professionalism and setting clearer standards for employee behavior.

We hired Signature Home Pros to install our roof, and while the installation crew did a great job, we were ultimately unhappy with the company's sales and estimating practices. We felt taken advantage of throughout the process. 1. Estimating and Billing Concerns The most significant issue was a lack of transparency in the billing. Our original estimate included 10 sheets of OSB sheathing. When we asked for a better price, the salesperson provided a new estimate that reduced the OSB count to 3 sheets, seemingly reducing the overall price but failing to account for the $560 value of the 7 sheets removed. We also felt that the charge of $80 per sheet was excessive when retail cost is closer to $20. The owner agreed to only charge for 10 sheets when 20 were used, but the initial estimate discrepancy made us lose trust. 2. Poor Sales Interaction and Service The salesperson was not professional. When my wife asked about the estimate changes and why the original bid was taken from our table, he became very rude. Additionally, 8 sheets of OSB were left in our driveway for nearly a week, and we, being in our 70s, had to move them ourselves to get them out of the rain. In Summary: The actual roofing installation was excellent, but the experience with the sales representative and the company's handling of estimate changes left us very disappointed.

We apologize you feel like you were mislead about the rotten wood charge. Wood replacement during a roofing project is sometimes unforeseen. We know our representative made an error when he rewrote your contract. We ended up covering all that cost and discounted down the additional sheets for you. $80 is the industry standard for replacing a 4x8 sheet of osb. You can purchase them for around $20 but when we pay our guys to remove the old one and reinstall the new plus the dumpster space for the old sheets. That is what drives the price up. We are glad you are happy with the finish project. If you still feel you were slighted in any way please feel free to reach out to us at our office line 810-270-5922. We would love the opportunity to speak with you. We are in no way trying to “take advantage “ of anybody.

This place is such a SCAM! I called and had an estimate done. When he gave me the way over-inflated estimate, I told him EVERY OTHER ONE I had gotten was less than half of theirs. So the individual told me to wait for a few minutes while they called into the office. Well then he says they could do it for half of what he first quoted me. Turns out, this place lost a huge job of a bunch of condos being built in north Owosso as well, for the exact same reason. If anyone is foolish enough to hire this “company”, then they have way more money than brains, no matter how broke they are.

I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience, John. Providing accurate estimates and transparent pricing is important to us, and it seems we fell short in your case. I appreciate your feedback, and we'll work on improving to better serve our customers in the future.

The quality of work was outstanding but got off to a rough start. I called and asked for a quote to fix/complete the siding, soffit and fascia on my recently purchased house in Davison. The sales reps they sent out were very knowledgeable about what should have been done and what was lacking. But the senior guy went to his truck and came back and quoted replacement of all the siding on the house and garage. I told him I was on a limited budget so he again went to his truck and came back with a price to replace the siding on the back of my house. I again told them I couldn’t afford that and was only interested in completing what they pointed out should’ve been done in the first place so they came back with a reasonable quote which I accepted (after a couple days). In the mean time, they quoted the replacement of a huge picture window, and a side window. I negotiated a cash price and they accepted it. A guy was sent out to measure both windows and six weeks later, my windows were delivered and a date set for installation a couple days later. When the installers came and they opened the windows, they found the picture window was ordered wrong and had to be reordered. Another 6 weeks. Once the correct windows were installed and they did a stellar job. Back to the siding. When the installer came, he was unsure of what was quoted and went on to tell me that there was a discrepancy between what he was supposed to do and what I was led to believe would be done. I was livid and let the production manager and the job manager. They both made it right and the installer came back another day and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. He buttoned up all the loose ends and made my house look so much better. Not sure where the disconnect is between quoting, measuring and installation. But all in all in the end I am very satisfied.

The steel roof great. I should have gone with that 30 years ago. It may not have been the same quality of what I have now. Now for the siding. My wife and the salesman came together with midnight blue board and batten around the house. Now the cultured stone on the front of the house pops out! Our house went from ugliest to best on the block. There were 2 crews, roofing and siding. I used my vacation time to be home during the 2 projects. The craftsmen knew their roll and performed it well. The steel panels were made on site. The mill forms a panel from a roll of steel. All in all it was a great experience.
