  Never had any work done by them but every time I see one of their branded trucks on the road, they are driving recklessly. Driving dangerously while in a company vehicle is not a great look for the business.

  They have ghosted me many times. 2 miles from my house they always had excuses, busy, day off etc. They didn't send pictures, or estimate, or return calls over two months. The employee did send texts with picture of himself shirtless in a muscle pose to communicate with me. That's not a good picture to use for business. Keep searching.

  Good afternoon, I have reviewed your job file. It looks like we had sent an estimate over via email on Sept 25th. Please contact our office 810-226-0400 and We can resend said invoice another route if it is having trouble reaching you. I believe there is a bit of confusion in regards to the photo, it is his personal phone you have been communicating with him via text over and He does body building competitions. The photo you are seeing is his profile photo icon for his personal phone. He is in competition in the photo. We are sorry if the photo upsets you. But it is his personal phone.

  They don’t call back or respond to their website inquiries. If you’re in the quoting process, don’t waste time waiting in the to call you. Yes, I’m sure I’m at the right place and yes I’m sure I submitted one request online and when I hadn’t heard back a couple days later I called and left a message. After a few more days I moved into on. Just leaving this heat so no one else wasted a week like I did.

  Communication was ok, schedule was fine.Having dogs at the home, I expressed many times to the sales people and crew that I would like a magnet run around to catch the nails that would be on the ground from tear off and install. Two magnet sweeps later I’m still finding nails everywhere. The driveway, sidewalks, downspout exits, middle of the yard and in the flower beds as well. I expected to find a few here and there, we are all human, but this is a bit much. Hoping I find them all before a dog paw does. Not impressed with clean the cleanliness of the crews at all.

  : ⭐️ 1-Star Review: Do NOT Use Gunz and Hoses – If I could put No stars I would!They Ruined My Home I received a roofing grant through ARPA due to my income, and Gunz and Hoses was the contractor assigned to do the work. After the job was supposedly completed, they removed my existing gutters and then tried to charge me extra to install new ones — even though gutters were already part of my home. Then came the first rainstorm. Water started pouring into my home. I’ve lived here 28 years and never had this problem before. Even with the old roof. Never this! I contacted Detroit Metro Community Development for help, but no one could assist. When I called the company back, the owner didn’t offer any solutions — instead, he sent me a credit application for more money I couldn’t afford. This "new" roof leaks all the way across the balcony the drain position to do so.. I noticed that cellophane has washed out from under the shingles, which tells me the job was done incorrectly or with poor materials. I don’t even know what they really did up there. After I demanded they reinstall my gutters (which they removed), someone eventually came out and did a horrible, sloppy job. Now every time it rains, I’m left bailing water like a fool to keep my home from flooding. The owner was nasty and dismissive when I asked for help. This whole experience has been heartbreaking. What started as a blessing through the ARPA program has turned into a disaster. I'm now considering selling my home because it’s been so badly damaged. Avoid Gunz and Hoses at all costs. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and they absolutely do not stand by their work

  Hey Delisa, we are sorry to hear you’re unhappy with your experience! Unfortunately, this is not the true story. You wanted us to install gutters for free, which we told you we could not do. The salesman informed you that you would need gutters installed to help keep rain away from the house. We made this very clear to you, but you told us multiple times you could not pay for them. Your home was not ruined by us, so we do not appreciate the false review. Your home is collecting water next to your foundation due to you not wanting to pay for gutters, like the salesman proposed. We hope it all works out, and good luck!

  In the spring of 2023, I began searching for a contractor to install a new roof after experiencing storm damage to my home. Guns and Hoses came up in my Google search with great reviews, so I reached out. From the start, Logan, the owner, raised red flags. He immediately asked about insurance payments, suggesting direct payments from the insurance company. This struck me as odd, and I told him I’d handle the payments myself, but his focus on the insurance set the tone. Logan sent his salesman, Zach, to assess the job. Zach was friendly, but it became clear he lacked roofing experience. As a master electrician with 18 years of experience, I quickly noticed that Zach misidentified key components of the roof. This was troubling, especially for a company claiming expertise. I had initially wanted a standing seam metal roof, but after getting an expensive quote from another contractor, I shifted to asphalt. When Zach returned, I confirmed my preference for asphalt, but he suggested installing a metal roof over the existing one. Despite my insistence on asphalt, he quoted a much lower price than the other contractor—another red flag. Zach admitted he had never installed a metal roof himself, which raised more concerns. A few days later, Zach revised the price, saying the project would cost several thousand more due to the need to resheet the roof. However, he offered a discount, assuring me I’d still get the standing seam roof I wanted. We agreed on a final price, but when Zach collected the deposit, he claimed he hadn’t realized standing seam roofing would be so much more expensive. After reiterating my preferences, he agreed to honor the original price, stating they’d take a loss on the job. When the project began, the issues grew. The crew removed half of my lower-level roof on day one, and by the second day, the rest was gone. They covered the exposed area with a tarp in anticipation of rain, but a downpour caused my living room ceiling to leak. When I reached ou

  This company was suggested to me to put a roof over my patio area. The reviews were great, I had such high hopes. He came right out, checked everything out, took measurements and said I would get the quote in a couple days. It’s been well over a month, I’ve followed up three times now, each time I was told “I’ll get the quote right over to you”. Never received. If they didn’t want to do the project, I wish they would’ve just told me that in the first place. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

  Very efficient crew, putting tarps down all the way around the house, cleaning up very well, Chris's crew really did a good job. And Tim Finton was very good too! Very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. I would personally recommend guns and hoses to anyone looking for roofing or siding or gutters are any of the other work that they offer. They were done in 6 hours with tear off and reroof and it looks great. Plus they replace some fascia on my house that looks really good too.

  Jesse, the sales representative came to my house and was great to work with. He was very understanding and when I had a question and called him if he didn't answer he called me back whether I left a message or not. The crew showed up and did wonderful work and worked so well together I was so pleased. It looks great and they cleaned everything up like they were never here.

  Big thank you to Chase and the crew for my new roof ! They made the process easy on my end and worked well with my insurance company, while maintaining great communication all throughout. The roof looks wonderful and everything was done efficiently. The team also followed up after the work was complete to ensure everything was done well. Would definitely recommend.

  We had our house and barn roofs replaced last week and are extremely happy with how it turned out! They were one of 3 companies we got quotes from and were not only the best product for the best price but also the friendliest. We were not only impressed by the work done but also how clean they kept everything during and after. Our home and property were protected and they left nothing behind except a beautiful roof.

  Called Guns N Hoses after a sudden roof leak. Colin came out promptly and did an inspection. He helped me stop the immediate leak and provided a reasonable quote on a new roof and gutters. Love the new roof, their attention to detail, and their amazing response times. Customer service is top-notch.
