  After blowing out gutters, not flushing like you would think, the workers left the asphalt granuals all over the walkways, the decorative stones, and, worst, was on trex decking. All those granuals are now lodged under in the rain system I paid good money for to protect the finished patio underneath. I gave 1 star because the manager, Joe, came, after his work day, to help clean what little he could after such a terrible job. Do not call them. There are plenty of other companies that are mindful of the value of your property.

  I hired The Brothers That Just Do Gutters in Fall 2025 to replace my existing gutters with seamless 6" gutters. The estimator was professional, took measurements, and provided what I felt was a fair quote. The installation crew completed the work using roof straps rather than attaching the gutters to the fascia board. This immediately raised concerns because my previous gutter system was secured to the fascia and tied into the rafters. When I contacted the company, I was told roof straps were used because I supposedly did not have a fascia board. Less than three months later, during the winter, approximately half of the front gutter detached from my house and snapped in half. Initially, I was told this was an "act of God." However, after the company inspected the installation, they discovered the roof strap spacing was significantly wider than New York recommendations, roughly 40 inches apart when spacing should have been approximately 18–24 inches. At that point, they replaced the damaged front gutter, added additional straps, inspected the rear gutters, and assured me everything else was fine. Unfortunately, a few months later I noticed one of the rear roof straps had completely detached, and the strap spacing in the back did not match the corrections made to the front. Around the same time, I contacted another local gutter company with nearly 50 years of experience for an estimate on gutter guards. During their inspection, they questioned why roof straps had been used at all because my home does, in fact, have a fascia board available for attachment. My biggest disappointment was not the initial failure itself, but the inconsistent explanations and quality concerns that followed. After spending thousands of dollars on a new gutter system, I expected an installation that would provide long-term reliability and peace of mind.   Thank you for your feedback. We strive to be transparent in all our estimates and clearly communicate that our gutter guards are not maintenance-free. With over 20 years of testing, we’ve selected a design that minimizes larger debris, though smaller particles may still accumulate on top of the guard, which is why occasional maintenance is necessary. We do stand by the fact that when we do put guards on your gutters and down spouts will be free of debris. Many issues arise from a lack of general upkeep, which is why we’ve added the $175 service fee. We also include a specific line item in our estimates when we sell gutter guards called a Reality Check to ensure our customers know that maintenance will still be needed. In your case, when you declined the service, we waived the $175 fee. It’s important to note that we did not charge you, and we do not practice billing our customers for services we did not perform.

  I hired the brothers to come fix my gutters. I have a leak coming from the top right corner of my house. They came out and charged me $400 to do a "cleaning." They were here for all of 30 minutes and then gone. $400 later and I still have a leak. I called today to find out what the story is and why it's not fixed and they told me that they're not able to talk to me until they're back from their conference next week. Do not hire this company. What a rip off!

  Way overpriced, horrible customer service, would not ever recommend. Called for ultra simple cleaning and it took them 4 months to complete the job. No shows on dates scheduled (twice), missed garage cleaning, when I told them I wouldn’t pay until my garage was done it took them another 2 months to get people out to do a job I could do myself in 30 minutes. No way I will ever use this company again. I had to hold my nose to pay the $500+ owed.

  This company has poor communication and left me waiting for hours to find out when they would come. Most of the communication was on my behave trying to reach out for confirmations, exact date and finally never got the "3 hr" window call the day before as promised. Going with a more reliable company.

  This was my third time having BTODG install gutters. They have always delivered the goods. This time around there were a couple of hiccups on the material side of the job (whomever loads the trucks was a bit short on elbows) so the guys had to come back a couple times to complete the job. The install on crews that came are always great. So this 5 Star review is for them. The truck loader …. Not so much. Overall, I highly recommend BTODG.

  I had a very positive experience with Brothers Gutters. The company offers a great technology for both keeping leaves out of gutters and integrating heat cable to prevent ice dams. Mike worked with me to tailor a solution which would best meet my drainage needs. Josh led a team doing a thorough and careful job with the gutter install.
