Hello Mike, it appears that you left this on the wrong companies page. We do not have you as a client in our database and have not received any phone calls from you. So if you can please remove this, that would be great. It looks like only a year ago you also left another one star review for another roofing company. So 2 roofs in one year?

I have three story brick house in Poughkeepsie.... it is large house is height but total areas square footage of the roof is not that big. the address is 75South Hamilton street. Gknotos charged me $18,000.00 of roof replacement. I wonder if i was overcharged just because i am a woman and lacked the knowledge of the issue. it was a February and roof was leaking and had hard time fining other quotes. After it was done, i contacted other people inquired prices which where not more than $8,000-10,000. I wanted to see if anyone here had the same experience .... this is really bothering me.

My second time using GKontos. They replaced the roof on my home last year, and I was so happy with every aspect of the job, from the price to the communication to their thoroughness and quality of their work, that I didn't hesitate for a second calling them when I needed a new roof for my barn. And once again I am super happy with the price and experience. They run a TIGHT ship. Great in every aspect.

I hired Gkontos to replace the siding and gutters on my townhome because I knew they only dealt in quality - quality materials and quality service. John was my initial contact who came to my home to do a walkthrough, take measurements and discuss all the options. Since I live in a townhome I have to adhere to certain colors and patterns. I provided John with the specs from my HOA, and he was able to source exactly what I needed. Once everything was signed off John reached back out a couple days later to confirm that everything was in motion with regard to getting materials and permits. I next heard from Carly when it was time to schedule, and she kept me updated on the start date and times. The day of the job materials were dropped off early, and the work staff were not far behind. They were all kind and were dedicated to the job; working straight hours with scattered breaks. You could tell they were there to work and were not slacking off at any time. Lorenzo was my contact during the construction. His communication was beyond satisfactory. I would receive a text that morning about the job; including his availability when off-site. Construction took 4 days and I was surprised they came out on a Saturday to work! I did not ask them to, and was surprised when they arrived. Once the job was complete I expected a final check-in on the phone with Lorenzo. Instead I was suprised that George, the owner, came by to personally inspect the work and the job cleanup. Before I could say anything he had noted that the crew needed to return and do another once over cleaning up as he found some debris and such not attended to; including something that had accidently gotten to my neighbor's yard. Lorenzo ended up coming by and getting the rest cleaned up and removed. I had heard great things about GKontos including seeing their work done on other houses. When I knew my siding was at its end Gkontos was my one call that I hoped would be the only, and not only were they the only ca

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We truly appreciate your trust in our team and are so glad to hear you had a positive experience with your gutter and siding replacement over in Fishkill. It means a lot that you recognized the care and communication from John, Carly, Lorenzo, and the rest of our crew throughout the process. We know how important it is to make a project like this feel organized and well managed, especially when working within HOA requirements. We’re also glad George had the opportunity to personally ensure everything was completed up to our standard. Thank you again for your kind words, support, and the opportunity to work on your home. We’re grateful to be your call for future projects!

From initial contact i was impressed as Dom was very personable and knew what he was talking about. My roof had issues related to workmanship on previous job and he was honest with me every step of the way. Ken and the roofing team were also great explaining their process from start to finish. The end result was a quality job from a team that is hyper focused on quality and workmanship. Dom checked back in during the job to insure complete satisfaction with the final job. Very satisfied with the job and glad we chose Gkontos for our roof and soffit needs.

Fantastic! Incredibly hard-working crew. Salesman John stuck with me from sales through installation; always available. Inspectors either Ken and/or Lorenzo were onsite throughout the installation to explain, answer questions, and ensure the project was done right. Even George, the owner, showed up onsite to prove that he is involved and he cares! GKontos is not just a company... it's people you can talk to.

If only other businesses could follow this company's business model; all customers would be incredibly happy and satisfied. Professional, prompt, and friendly, G. Kontos exceeded our expectations. From the first phone call to the final walk around, we were completely satisfied by this company's business acumen. When we initially called to express interest in flashing around our garage door, we also mentioned we might be interested in a new roof. Firm dates and times were made for the flashing installation (which had to be accomplished before a new garage door was installed-- another project) and for a representative to visit and inspect our current roof. The flashing was professionally and efficiently installed prior to our new garage door's installation. Everything went seamlessly. Around this time, John came armed with expertise and brochures for our roof inquiry. After his professional inspection and assessment of our current roof, we decided to replace the roof and were given all of the options up front. Costs were determined after our choices were made, and all of this was done in an incredibly timely manner. There were no surprises and no hidden costs when all was said and done. G. Kontos applied for the permit from the town quickly and it was granted with celerity. The dates for delivery of the Dumpster and materials and then for the roof installation were given and adhered to. We were lucky to have perfect weather for the installation as well as sometimes one is at the mercy of the weather. Lorenzo oversaw the removal of the old roof and installation of the new roof. He was always present during the job and was professional as well as friendly from the initial arrival of the installers to the final walk around after the crew left. The crew was professional, and their expertise in roof removal and installation was evident throughout the entire day and with the end product. They made certain everything they moved was replaced, and they also scoured the
