Sorry, I don't get on FB much. I didn't call. They called me and they mentioned based out of Corpus Christi. I asked how that was relevant to my area and she got real upset real fast. A very unpleasant experience. There are no companies with that name in my area and she is the one that mentioned Corpus. There is no way I would have been able to bring that up since I have no relation. Poor customer service is all. Unfortunate hire. And then I was blocked. Thank you for your response. I’m completely confused though , as Texas State Roofing does not call people “out of the blue” to solicit business. We will return a call if they have called the office number or sent an email, but no “cold calling”, especially to out of town clients. Do you know what number you were called from? Your review is very hurtful to my company and I am not finding any evidence that the review is valid or representative of the way we communicate with clients.   Yes, we definitely agree that communication was difficult. However, in reading your other Google reviews, it seems that communication with other service providers is often the primary complaint that you mention. Having different primary languages is not conducive to great communication. As you live in Houston, your efforts in assisting your parents (who lack English speaking skills) with an insurance claim they have on their roof in Corpus Christi, was admirable. Dealing with an insurance claim can be confusing in itself, but adding another language and multiple parties, makes for difficult communication among the parties. A copy of the insurance adjustment was requested to provide a comprehensive and accurate restoration and it was never provided. Emails were not replied to, on your part, in a timely manner. Texas State Roofing Company makes every effort to be responsive with all our clients, but we are also respectful of their time and privacy. As the request for the adjustment was ignored, the presumption was that you had found another contractor. Texas State Roofing Company has the expertise and experience to assist our clients through the entire process of roof replacement, from initial inspection, through the complete insurance claim, to a beautiful, functional, long-lasting, hand-nailed roofing system. But it does take cooperation and communication.

  Texas State Roofing replaced my roof in May of 2016. Upon completion, numerous problems were found by myself including very poor drip edge install and many nails nailed into voids on the rakes and eaves drip edges. And no shingle overhang of drip edge (some places had shingles 3/8” back (negative overhang)from drip edge in many locations which is NOT supported by GAF install instructions). I documented and sent pics to TSR and they sent their crew they were using (all from the valley) back to my home to fix the numerous problems. This crew was very obviously upset that they had to come back. After they were supposed to be finished fixing all of their poor install, I still found numerous areas of poor installation and this was evident especially on drip edge. I informed my sales associate David Issacs of these and was assured all was fine. TSR then had another crew of 2 guys install soffit vents afterward and one of these guys saw all the problems with the roof install that were still present. He informed me that I would have fascia and drip edge underlay rot problems down the road because of the poor installation…and he was 100% correct. 4 years down the road I started having fascia/drip edge underlay rot problems on some of the eaves. 5 -6 years even more plus water leakage (ballooning)under my paint on some of the eave fascia which is a dead giveaway to poor eave/drip edge install and first runs of shingle install. I contacted TSR with all my findings including finding areas where their crew didn’t even use a starter strip or underlayment. They sent a guy out and he siliconed my eave sections and the poor drip edge corners that were not installed/cut correctly. He did also install some underlayment on a section of eave that had none. First rain after this and I have another section of eave where water is getting under my paint because of TSR’s poor installation. I emailed them again and they sent “David” out who basically told me they now blame my roof decking o

  I requested a roof inspection for repair on a 5 year old roof. When the technician arrived he inspected the roof for about 10 seconds and started walking away. When I mentioned there was damage on both sides to porch area he turned around and said ok so both sides. I am not a roof inspector and I waited a week to have this appointment. It has been a month and I haven't received an actual quote. I am guessing my repair wasn't big enough to waste time on. I will never call them again.

  I paid well for this company to fix a leak around my chimney and it was never fixed despite multiple call backs over many months. Pretty difficult to get them to come back after the job is done.

  My garage was leaking N I wanted to fix as fast as I could before the next rain. So I called them N One of their guys came to our house to do the estimate and told me that he will send the estimate by evening, its been a week now N I don't get anything from him. I tried to reach him N he turned my phone off. Very bad experience I had.

  Ruben and his team were on point from the jump. On time consultation, honest eta on start date, dealt with a mechanical issue beyond his control, before and after drone shots. When I called some of his competitors they didn't even respond. Ruben @ TSR os now our sole vendor for any task at Cinnamon Shore North & South Port Aransas. Thank you Mr. Ruben sir.

  Highly impressed they showed up at 6:30 am , placed tarps all around my mobile home to catch the mess from the roof; they worked straight through til 12:30 when they completed my roof. The cre cleaned up all of the tarps with the trash. Then the lead went back up on the roof to check the roof and made sure everything sure everything was 100 % then he took a blower and went around my home again making sure they left everything pristine. I would recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

  Great crew. Timely work. Good installation. Cleaned up afterwards very well. Only complaint was the subcontracted stucco company was sub-par. They painted over the flashing, did mediocre stucco work & stained the shingles.

  Awesome roofing company! Jac was great at communicating and delivered what he promised!! I definitely would work with them again and I strongly recommend!! I didn’t have to worry about anything!! Price to replace the hail damaged roof was lower than the insurance estimate which was fantastic!
