I recently had Texas Roofing Project repair my roof and couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very first call to the final walkthrough, the entire process was transparent and professional. Their team addressed everything that needed attention — shingles, ice and water shield, flashing, vent seals, and water runoffs — and documented every step with detailed photos, so I could actually see the work being done and confirm everything was handled correctly. A special shoutout to the owner, Steve, who was knowledgeable, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. He clearly explained what needed to be fixed and why, without any pressure or upselling. If you're in the DFW area and need roofing work done right, I highly recommend Texas Roofing Project. Great communication, quality work, and a team you can trust.

Texas Roofing Project installed a roof vent for our newly installed bathroom exhaust fan, routing it properly through the roof. Steve was easy to communicate with, flexible when scheduling, and professional throughout the entire process. The work was completed quickly and carefully, and we've had no leaks since the installation. The quality of the work was excellent, especially for the fair price. I would definitely recommend Texas Roofing Project and would use them again. My only suggestion for future visits would be for the crew to wear shoe covers (booties) while working inside the house. It wasn't a major issue, just a small preference that would make an already positive experience even better.

Steve replaced the roof on my son's house and did a great job, that is how I met him. We had a roof leak and some holes in our chimney. Steve responded quickly, met with the adjuster, did a great job of explaining the issues, and got all the repairs done. I highly recommend him.

The team at TX Roofing Project got out to a home I was listing for a client the very next day that I asked. After considering all the options with the team of at TXRP, my clients decided to install a new roof prior to selling their home. The roof was installed that same week, allowing the sellers to lose no time in the home selling process. The team at TXRP was professional, authentic, quick, and cost effective. I’d highly recommend!

I had a couple of properties that needed a roof opinion as a real estate broker. This crew was amazing at offering an honest opinion of the roof. My most recent report said that the roof was in good condition with only minor repairs being needed. They are honest and trustworthy. This is the perfect partner a broker like myself needs. Thank you!

We would enthusiastically recommend Steve and the Texas Roofing Project to anybody that needed a roof repair or replacement. Most roofers are a dime a dozen, dropping unsolicited business cards and text messages after a storm and leaving …

Robert, this review honestly means the world to us. Thank you for trusting Steve and our team with your roof replacement, and for taking the time to share your experience so thoughtfully. What you said about the insurance claims process really stands out. That's something we take seriously because we know how overwhelming it can feel, and Steve genuinely cares about making sure homeowners in Richardson are represented fairly every step of the way. Your comment about not upselling might be the best compliment we've ever received. That's exactly the kind of company we want to be, honest recommendations, no pressure, just doing right by the people who trust us with their homes. We hope you don't need another roof anytime soon either! But whenever anything comes up, you know where to find us. Enjoy that beautiful new roof. - Texas Roofing Project

Your roof might look perfectly fine from the driveway, but that doesn't mean it escaped the last hail storm. That's one of the trickiest things about hail damage in North Texas. The bruises and granule loss on asphalt shingles are nearly invisible from ground level, and they often get worse over time as UV exposure breaks down the exposed mat underneath. What starts as a subtle soft spot can turn into a leak a year later. Here's something you can do without climbing on the roof. Walk your property and check for granules piling up at the base of your downspouts or collecting in flower beds. Look at your gutters, AC condenser fins, and mailbox for fresh dents. If the hail hit hard enough to ding soft metals, it probably bruised your shingles too. And if neighbors on your street in Richardson, TX are already scheduling inspections or getting new roofs, your home likely took the same hits. The key is getting a professional inspection within weeks of a storm, not months later when your insurance filing window is closing. As a trusted roofing company serving Richardson and the surrounding DFW area, Texas Roofing Project provides honest assessments and helps you understand the insurance process. Give us a call today to schedule your free roof inspection. #RichardsonTX #HailDamageAug 13, 2026Learn more
