Ted's team took time upfront to explain what a full replacement meant and number they gave felt fair. Tear off and install ran about four day and they kept things tidy while it was going on. The finished roof sits clean and even. Easy to deal with people that know their stuff.

Had ice dams cause real damage last winter and the ceiling in our hallway showed water stains. Ted Roofing came out, looked at the attic ventilation along with the roof, and explained that the old roof and poor ventilation were both part of the problem. They did a full replacement and added more ventilation at the same time. Got through this past winter with zero ice buildup along the eaves and the hallway ceiling has stayed dry. Real fix.

There were a couple spots where the old roof was visibly dripping and we kept getting water coming in near the back bedroom wall. Ted Roofing replaced everything and it's been rock solid.Had some nasty downpours last month and not a single drip,so that's a relief.

Are old roof had really worn out, so we went with a full replacement using shingles. The color matching on the ridge cap is really clean, like it flows together not looking patchy. Dormer areas came out tight too, which I was worried about because those animals are awkward. The dumpster was gone the same day they finished.

Why does cedar shake roofing need specialized maintenance? Because you're protecting natural wood, not a manufactured asphalt product. Cedar reacts to moisture and airflow throughout its lifespan, and those factors can determine how well the roof ages. Debris collecting in valleys or between shakes can hold moisture against the surface. Poor ventilation can slow drying, while inappropriate cleaning methods may cause unnecessary damage. Our roofing contractors inspect cedar roofing with these characteristics in mind. We look beyond visible appearance to evaluate individual shakes, moisture-prone areas, flashing, drainage, and ventilation. Proper care helps preserve the rustic appearance homeowners value while reducing the risk of premature deterioration. If you have a cedar shake roof, make sure it receives maintenance designed specifically for cedar. Call today to schedule a professional inspection.3 days agoCall now
