  Only thing that was good about this company was the salesman, the office worker Robin who was nice that I talked to, and the one production manager who knew what he was talking about when he came out. Provia makes a sturdy door, however the installation from sunshine is subpar. Have had to reach out a couple of times to get the door fixed after it was installed (a brand new over $10k door) that shouldn’t have had any issues to begin with. Don’t let their lifetime labor warranty fool you. It will be shotty work. They tried to do a DIY on a newly installed door. Had I not said anything, it would have been left looking janky. The door still looks janky in parts. Just don’t feel like having them come out again and making it look worse. I tried reaching out to ask a simple question about why I cannot remove the mesh screen for my storm door because it makes the glass door in the storm door wobbly without it. The salesman said they were interchangeable, however that does not seem to be the case. Once they get paid, good luck. Should have gone with another company. Had this been installed and looked good the first time, I would have been okay spending the significant amount of money.

  I called this company to schedule an appointment for window replacement. I was told that a salesperson would reach out to me, but I never heard back from anyone, and the lack of communication makes me question if the business is still operating or reliable. I was just trying to get an estimate, but if this is how they handle potential customers, I’m not sure how it would be to actually do business with them.

  An estimator came but no further price quote nor further communication was provided. Not sure what happened. So, no go with them.

  The appointment was on July 1 and the proposals were emailed to the homeowner on July 7. We have already spoken with the homeowner and let him know this.

  Windows are of good quality, but the experience of working with them has been the worst I have had with any business in the last several years. I understand delays in production due to COVID/supply chain issues, so when they increased the quoted lead time by several weeks when placing the order, it was to be expected. However, they were still many weeks later than that. The installation was then done to a poor quality. One window is not installed flush. They did not all adhere to COVID safety guidelines in our house. They left a shocking amount of clean-up work to be done by us, both inside and outside. And the quality of the finish work is sub-amateur on multiple windows. Furthermore, the communication is unacceptably bad. I have had to deal with a no-call, no-show appointment. Multiple failures to follow-up with me when they said they would. And I have now been overcharged on the initial installation costs (they were supposed to hold 5% of the total bill until they come and fix the mistakes they made, but they only left ~$100, which leads me to believe they simply won't be fixing the issues given they haven't communicated with me in over a week). Avoid this business.

  They told us after we sent in our contract and deposit that there would be delays for the work due to COVID that could significantly impact the timeframe agreed upon in the contract. They have now surpassed the agreed upon timeframe and sent no updates. When I called, they didn’t return the call. When I emailed about the door, I received a very general “COVID” update with no new timeframe or information specific to our order.

  I'm sorry that you are upset with the delays - we certainly are as well! As you can imagine, COVID has significantly impacted manufacturing, not only with our business but around the world. Lead times fluctuate on a daily basis dependent on each manufacturing facility and their COVID policies/infections and unfortunately that is all out of our control. We are doing the best that we can to control the things that we are able to control - please bare with us, and the rest of the country, as we work through this!

  We had Sunshine contracting install a sliding glass door and replace two transom windows. First night of rain and we had water pouring in around the door frame because the installer forgot to use flashing. They installed flashing about a week later. One of the transom windows has had a very slow leak when it rains, Sunshine came out to inspect it over a month ago and hasn’t made any effort to correct it or even schedule the repair. We understand the current ‘pandemic’ is going to create some delays but at least keep your customers updated. Not a company I would recommend.

  A couple of weeks ago we had two doors replaced -- the storm door in the front of our house and the interior door leading to our garage. The product and the installation were wonderful, with no problems at all. Courteous installers who took the time to show us the final product and how everything worked. A great experience, and I'll call them again for more work in the future. Thanks!

  Ovid and his crew did a great job replacing my windows! They were friendly, professional, and an all around pleasure to work with. My house presented a number of issues: windows that had been unevenly set, situated in an historic district, and in a planned community with strict-HOA rules on work hours. They took everything in stride and made sure to clear any proposed plans for the odder problems by me before implementation. They left every workspace as clean as they had found it. My new windows are Marvin Elevate windows and I love them. They are much better than the original windows both on noise reduction and heat transfer. Before, leaving the shades up while the sun was out had a greenhouse effect; the house heated up very quickly. With the new windows, I can leave the shades down or up with minimal heat impact. I also want to talk about a problem that I encountered, as what often sets a company apart is not how it acts when everything goes as planned but how it responds when an error has been made, and there was one large error on my job. (Even the best companies will make mistakes, as everyone is human, and we all make mistakes. But as long as a company addresses them quickly, there's usually no lasting issue). Sunshine Contracting's response was outstanding, showing how much they value the customer as well as how much pride they take in their work. As context, my house is in a historic district, subject to special building requirements. This is not immediately obvious because the house itself is relatively young and at the very edge of the historic district. For that reason, I always notify contractors upfront about the requirements and I did so here as well. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication sometime after the contract had been signed, and the installers were unaware of the earlier communications on the city's requirements.   We got rake board replaced recently. One of the most efficient and professional companies I have come across. From estimates to completing the project they were efficient, courteous and most important punctual. The communication throughout the process was good. I will highly recommend Sunshine.

  Great company! We had them replace all of the siding on our house with Hardie. Excellent job!! The crew took great pride in their work and did an excellent and efficient job.   I would highly recommend Sunshine Contracting Company. Benjamin Hill was our first contact/sales person, and Nathan Sullivan was the project manager. We recently hired Sunshine Contracting Company for a large siding project, and we are very happy with the results. They also helped identify an old roofing problem that had been causing leaks even with small amounts of rain. They found the tricky area where water was getting through and replaced it with new materials. They were professional, knowledgeable, organized, and attentive to our concerns throughout the whole process. After a disappointing experience with a previous roofing company, we especially appreciated how hard Sunshine Contracting worked to meet our requests and stay on schedule. They delivered excellent results, and I only wish we had known about them earlier.
