Product reviews are normally done as soon as the work is completed. I was pleased with the work when completed. In 2025, I went up into the attic and found evidence of mold on the plywood that had been installed with the new roof. There is …

Smith Roofing, George and his crew, did a fantastic job replacing our roof! Communication with George Smith was fantastic, easy to work with, and honest. His employees are extremely hard working, courteous and respectful. I highly recommend Smith Roofing Co if you need a new roof or any roof repairs.

George and his team did a great job replacing my roof. They finished in a timely manner and cleaned everything up afterward. I definitely recommend Smith Roofing if you need any roofing work done.

Highly recommended. Smith Roofing has put 2 roofs on my house since 2008 and the 2nd time was the fault of Mother Nature, NOT the lack of craftsmanship. If anyone remembers that hail storm we had in the DC area in early May 2016. It was a doozy! And while I didn't think it had any damage my insurance company said it needed to be replaced. So, I called Smith Roofing, as opposed to going with the 10 or so companies that were constantly canvassing my neighborhood after that storm. His crews show up on time and work steadily even in our hot & humid summers and they do high quality work. And they clean up the debris like "nobody's business". No nails in my tires afterwards and yes, I occasionally pull my vehicles into my back yard to unload mulch and other landscaping materials. Give Smith Roofing a call!

In 2023, we got a roof leak and contacted 4 companies for estimates. We got the whole range of costs and recommendations, including to replace a16 year old roof installed with 50-year shingles (so nowhere near maturity). George came out on short notice (after another company had placed a tarp over the leaking area a few days prior). He explained issues in a very technical manner (which I prefer) and his assessment made the most sense to me. He inspected the rest of the roof and even adjusted the pitch of a gutter that was not properly draining. What he recommended was peanuts in comparison to replacing a roof. No further leaks from that spot. Now, in 5/2025, we had very heavy rain and high winds. Some water got in through an improperly installed vent due to the wind. It was too subtle of an issue for him to see during the inspection he had done in 2023. He sent out Antonio who added sealant to the vent (the skirt of the vent could not be replaced without risking damage to the tubing inside the house). The repair was done quickly and Antonio also cleaned out gutters while up there that were clogged and causing a separate issue. Very professional and knowledgeable company.

Smith Roofing did an excellent job installing my new roof and I'm pleased with the quality of the tile and the expert installers to include Israel who offered photos of the new plywood installed. George Smith was responsive and his crew was top notch, professional during the installation clearing the area of debris/nails and ensuring tile was properly installed. I would definitely recommend this company to other homeowners.

I left voicemails with four roofers on a Sunday when businesses were closed about a small leak that I suspected in my roof. George Smith himself got back to me that day and they fixed three small possible issues the next day for practically nothing. Three days later and still none of the other companies even returned my call.
