  We used Marshall Roofing as recommended by our neighbor. We paid over $19,000 for a new roof and skylights that were supposed to be installed in June 2024 but due to poor scheduling/communication on Marshall Roofing's part, it wasn't done until the end of July 2024. And it was a rush job. During installation, one of their workers broke through the roof/skylight. It was a mess. Fast forward, it is now January 2025 and two of the brand new skylights are leaking and damaged the drywall. I have called repeatedly and asked them to come and fix the leak as they claim to have a 15-year warranty of their work. Today, once again, NO ONE showed up and NO ONE called despite being assured they would be here between 12-4. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. They tell you all the great stuff they do but try and get them to come back other than to get their check. Good luck with having them stand by their "work". It has been a nightmare.

  Hired them to do a roof and gutter replacement for a home I bought before I moved into it. I woke up one morning with a series of texts and calls from Doug the roofer angry that another contractor's dumpster was in my driveway (which I had told the office it was going to be there as an FYI). One text said "this is a major deviation in the scope of work" and he was indicating I'd be charged extra for the other dumpster there. I called the office staff and talked to Annette. I clearly stated that I'd rather reschedule the roof replacement than be charged penalty fees; she said she would talk to Doug. A few hours later, I emailed Annette to see what was happening. No response. I called the mainline and talked to Carrie who said the work was completed but she didn't know about pricing or the extra fees from the other dumpster. That was the end of communication for that day. A couple days later, I went to the property to see the old gutters and downspouts--what?!? I thought the work was done?!?! I emailed Annette who explained there would be a second day of work in the future. I told her via email that the other dumpster was still going to be there and, again, I'd rather reschedule the work then pay additional fees. No reply. A day or so later, someone called and left a voicemail saying the workers were coming the next day. I called back and left a message reiterating that I'd like to pause the work and not have to pay penalty fees. I did get a missed call the next morning but no voicemail and no email. Frustrated, I emailed the company's President and complained about my experience. It was only after that point that someone called and told me there was no additional penalty pricing, that other dumpster situation was worked out. My warning to others is that this company is very difficult to get a straight answer from, they have you running in circles until you email the president. Hire them at your risk.

  I called to have a service done. The receptionist told me call someone else. I did. And I will be working with that person from now on. If she would not have pushed me away. I would not have meet the other roofer. Thanks....

  The person on the phone was/is very friendly an efficient. However, it took a week to schedule an appointment, then the appointment was moved to a later date. It has been 10 days waiting for an estimate. I even left a message indicating if an estimate would be sent-- no response two days later.

  very bad experience with their invoice as well. I was harrassed a few times with a payment that was already made and ended up paying twice for the same job. $3.5k twice is a huge deal. Keep you receipts if you had done business with this company. I misplaced mine and had to relied my email for record of transaction. Marshall came back nearly two years later after the job completion and claiming they were not paid. I gave the guy who came out my credit card number at the time of completion and clearly noted it was paid in full on my receipt at the time of job completion two years earlier.I found the same receipt after paying for the same job the second time.

  You can ask for a quote but don't expect to get one. - I called Marshall for an estimate on new gutter toppers and to correct a low slope roof issue. First the gutter guy came out, took a look and I never heard from him again. Then the roof repair guy came out. He told me that the low slope roof wasn't installed right and that it would need to be redone. Also he said that the siding around the roof would have to be reinstalled. I said OK, give me a price. I never heard back. I called him if he was going to quote the work. Oh yes he says. i have just been busy. I haven't heard anything since and that was over a month ago. They probably didn't want the work but didn't have the guts to tell me. What a nonprofessional way to do business.

  Bad experience with their invoices I've received. Mistake on their end and tried to over charge me. I wouldn't recommend this company. I've found a better roofing company in the D.C. metro area. Stay away!!

  Joe G was the consulate professional. We had some leaking from our roof near skylights. He found the problem quickly and took care of it himself instead of trying to sell us a new roof. Marshall will always be my go to.

  I am so pleased that I chose Marshall Roofing to replace the roof and gutters on my townhome. They are professionals and do amazing work. The estimator quoted me a price and did not try to sell me materials I did not need. The roofing and gutter crews were fabulous. They showed up on the scheduled days and times, took care of my property, and left it immaculate when they finished. The office staff and foreman communicated clearly from estimate to scheduling to job completion. The experience was a "10" from start to finish. Thank you, Marshall Roofing!

  Once again, Marshall roofing hit it out of the park.They've previously installed a roof, windows, and gutters. This time they did wonders replacing my siding. Not a single piece of detritus was left behind.
