Roof looks fine but they ripped aluminum capping on two of my windows. When I told them Sean said they'd fix it, but once they got my check they didn't care.
Reply from the business
Carol did call and we put the repair into or service rotation. The repair was made approx 3-4 after it was brought to our attention.

The quality of the roofing work appears to be good, but I was very disappointed with how the permitting process was handled. The work was completed before the required permit was obtained. As a homeowner, I expected a licensed contractor to secure all necessary permits before beginning the project. After the work was finished, I received an invoice for the permit fee along with emails stating that my account could be sent to collections and my roof warranty could be suspended or permanently terminated if I did not pay within seven days. I paid the outstanding balance to avoid further issues, but I do not believe customers should be put in that position when the required permit was not obtained before work began. My recommendation is to ask detailed questions about the permitting process before signing a contract and confirm that all required permits have been obtained before work starts.

Summit roofing was absolutely fantastic to work with—from the sales process (respectful / not pushy) to the work itself they absolutely met and exceeded my expectations. I would 100% work with them again if given the opportunity. …

I had a great experience with Summit Roofing from start to finish. Michelle, the project coordinator, kept communication clear and timely throughout the entire process; Roger, the project manager, made sure everything ran smoothly; and Sean, the owner, was professional and responsive. The project involved properly venting bathroom exhaust fans and replacing a piece of siding that had fallen off during a windstorm, and everything was completed exactly as promised, on schedule and for the quoted price. The quality of work and level of communication were exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend Summit Roofing and would absolutely use them again.

Sean and Roger were great. It's a roof, right? Good service, good price. Nice guys. Happy to recommend as they were to me, by a close neighbor.

I cannot say enough good things about Summit. I am so happy that we chose them to install new siding, gutters and capping. The whole team from their estimator, project coordinator, foreman and owner were ultimate professionals. The work looks great. Their pricing was competitive and fair. They completed the entire project in less than two days before an impending snowstorm. Our job was not more than a week old and a tree fell down during a windstorm. They support the roof repair, siding damage, and gutter replacement in prompt manner.
