I called Strictly Roofing to get a quote on my very simple, two sided, low slope 1000sq ft roof on a single story home. They basically told me it would be too hard and too much work to take off my old shingles and put new ones on, even without coming to do a physical estimate. I was a landscaper for 30 years and never once told a customer I could not do the work because it was too hard to do! My question is why are they even running a business in the first place!!

We are so sorry that you had a negative experience. As was explained on the phone, the amount of work involved to remove the two layers of shingles already on the roof as well as the metal covering the roof would be better suited for a … More

I called them at 10:30pm hoping to get a voice-mail of the business to leave a message for a return call in the AM. Instead a cranky and confused voice answered, I asked "is this strictly roofing?", the man replied with "you're kidding me, right?". I was confused and didn't really know how to answer. He then asked what the job was and said we don't want to do that and I was happy that he said that because the attitude you provide reflects the service you provide and I do not recommend this company.

I called him for a patch and even before he come to my house to access the damage he told me to e transfer $400 which I did, he said that I need to do that first for him to buy materials, when he got to my house a week later he asks me again to e transfer another $400 to buy more materials, which is I think is a complete scam in my opinion because he spent just under 1 hour and a half in my house, he did not even left a receipt detaling cost of materials nor labour. So when I ask him for a receipt, all that he sent me was a piece of paper saying "$800 patch" indicating nothing that he did in my house. I asked him for the detail he said "we don't do that for patch". I would not recommend him to no one and I will not use his service anymore, if I could give him a zero star I would have, but unfortunately I have to put down 1 star. Not credible.

The process with Eric was very straightforward, and communication throughout was very helpful. The team was professional and incredibly patient with my very curious and interested toddler! We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this company. Our roof looks great and it was a pleasure having them on our property!

Posting on behalf of Dale Chamberlain: I want to thank Strictly Roofing for the new roofing shingle job Eric and the team did. They did an awesome job on my house and garage! They were very efficient and a professional team. The cleanup after was very thorough and fast. I highly recommend Strictly Roofing for your shingle and repair needs. I was also please on Eric's knowledge and suggestion on installing a solar powered attic vent to help ventilation and cooling for our upstairs bedrooms. We noticed it is a lot cooler upstairs. I am thankful for his expertise and advice on this matter. Thanks again Eric and the team!

Eric and his crew did a great job removing our old chimney and patching the roof. They also saw that we had a cracked sewer cover and took care of that at the same time! They are efficient, friendly, and do a great job.
