  One of this company’s new workers does crack cocaine on the job. His coworkers at his previous job doing drywall did it as well. i wouldn’t want anyone’s family or kids to get into that stuff while getting your house worked on. would not recommend.

  Great, professional & fast quote but after accepting bid the job never got done after many promises. Waited all summer and after many excuses we still have no new roof and we now have snow on ground and I am stuck with a leaky roof until Spring now. They clearly don't care about their customers!!

  Would leave a zero if I could. Used this company in the past with a good experience. Had a leak in my commercial building. Called to get an estimate for a new roof. Took over a week to get someone on site. After the assessment, and 10 days, I emailed for the estimate. No response. Finally called and spoke with Rob. Estimate still not completed. Asked if it usually takes this long, "I'm swamped, this is usually when the procrastinators try to get their roof done". I called the day after my leak! Thanks for the non-estimate. I will have someone else complete my job. Could not be more disappointed with how long this process took and the derogatory tone and intimation from the estimator.

  Hi Kris- we apologize for the bad experience you had! This is not the way that our Company runs, and it is embarrassing to hear that someone responded to you that way! Unfortunately, sometimes we are just completely swamped, as we are the largest roofing contractor in Northern Michigan. We do our best to service all of our customers promptly, but this time we obviously fell short. Our apologies!

  Contacted Story Roofing for a roofing repair (they did not install current roof) in April. They were booked out until mid May. They scheduled repair for May 16-18. Here we are on May 20th - have not shown up or called.

  Best place to go for your roof or basement! This company treats its workers like family and it's customers even better! They are professional and go beyond to get their jobs done and keeping the customer happy through it all! From fixing to needing a whole new roof or basement they make you feel like you are their #1 customer. Dont take my word call them and see for yourself. Needing a new roof is scary and they take care of everything. If your worried about cost get an estimate cuz we can't all be roofers.

  Did our original roof abt 14 years ago and just recently discovered a damaged shingle by a skylight. Technician was at a nearby neighbors and promptly stopped by before leaving the neighborhood to do the repair. Great/amazing customer service!!

  Very happy with the whole process from bid to completion. Site was clean at the end of each work day. Crew was well supervised. When additional work needed was found, the add-on cos was reasonable.

  Excellent company to work with. Had a new roof installed and years later needed service to replace a piece a siding due to high winds. Can't say enough good about this company. If 5 stars is the best...I'd give them a 10!

  Great experience with the company. They are very knowledgeable and all questions / concerns were addressed. They stand by their work and did great job with debris clean up. Highly recommend for any roofing needs including rubber EPDM sunroom roofing and metal roofing.
