  We have had Northshore out for same issue for the last three years. We've paid them each time. Each time we get a different answer as to why we have a roof leak. Last year it was flashing, which was fixed. This year it was the underlayment. Their level of expertise, in my opinion, seems very low, and there is no continuity at all in their approach. I would not recommend them. Edit: As you can see from the response below, Northshore does not stand by their repairs and is interested only in giving excuses. First, it is false that there is no ice shield on the portion our roof in question. I have photos from the build showing its presence, and I've attached photo from our post-build inspection report confirming the presence of ice and water shield. Second, Northshore has recommended that we take incremental steps for the last three years. First fixing a single spot, second fixing flashing, and third now an entire replacement. So, instead of solving the problem the first time, we've now gone through multiple rounds of chasing down Northshore. Third, we had our attic inspected both by our insurance company and another service provider, Reaction Restoration, which confirmed that it is beyond adequately insulated. Moreover, Northshore didn't even bother to use, for example, a thermal camera before reaching their conclusion. Fourth, our roof has passed code, as can be clearly seen from the permit and occupancy certificate issued when it was installed. Fifth, their statement about what has been paid and what has been quoted is not accurate. And finally, the level of professionalism of Northshore is clear from the fact that they are publicly disclosing amounts paid for repairs on a Google review.

  Company struggled with follow thru completing the job, invoicing correctly and sending final reports. Even payment processing wasn’t handled correctly. At this time, I’d look elsewhere for services.

I have read all of the correspondence, but I am having a hard time understanding the timeline and what all is the major issue. It looks like this estimate went out around the time of us losing two repair guys in the same day which caused some major scheduling nightmares. Please give me a call.

  Would never recommend Northshore Exterior Roofing. Was misinformed as to the type of material I should put on my house. Glad I got a 2nd and 3rd opinion. The company I used may have cost a bit more but at least they knew what they were talking about and the final product looks great.

  Thomas and his crew exceeded expectations at every level.What impressed me the most was how well they cleaned up and minimized as best as anyone can their footprint on our yard, etc. Northshore was awesome from the get go. From the quote to completion, this outfit is punctual, professional, courteous, and oh yeah, they just kick a lot of ass. There was a minor discrepancy post installation, and Thomas had it taken care of within a few hours. That’s unheard of these days. This was not the first place I called, but they were first to call me back and get the ball rolling. I’d ask for Thomas and his crew if you can. Don’t wait, call today!
