  When we opted not to go with a full replacement all communication stopped. I texted and emailed, asking when we were going to be put on the schedule. Finally got told to call their "repair contractor" who said he doesn't do work for the amount my insurance approved. I emailed Jeff back with Mike's (the repair guy) response and have yet to hear anything - that was over a week ago. I went with another contractor as small jobs are obviously not something they do and if that is the case that should be explained UP FRONT.

We would like to provide you with some insight into the reasoning behind our decision concerning the repairs on your property. While we do handle repairs of all sizes, as a responsible roofing contractor, we must adhere strictly to building codes and manufacturer installation requirements. In your case, insurance agreed to cover the repair of a small section of your roof. However, the roofing shingles in question had been discontinued and were too brittle to be repaired satisfactorily. Moreover, they were located adjacent to a roof valley, which is considered a high-risk area. To comply with building codes and manufacturer requirements and to prevent further damage to your roof, the only acceptable solution was to replace the roofing shingles not only on the slope where they were missing but also on the connected slopes. Naturally, expanding the scope of the repair would involve additional costs, and as you mentioned in your review, you declined to have us perform that work. At that point, we recommended another roofing company that might have been able to assist you. You referred to this individual as "their repair contractor" in your review, implying that he is affiliated with our organization. However, we want to clarify that this contractor has no association with our company; we simply suggested that you contact them. Unfortunately, it seems that they provided you with a similar response. We acknowledge that we did not initially communicate the complexities of your situation as clearly as we should have.   I had a great experience working with Rob at StormGuard. From the beginning, Rob was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He took the time to explain the roofing process, answer all of my questions, and make sure I understood my options without ever feeling pressured. The communication throughout the project was excellent, and Rob followed through on everything he promised. The crew did a great job, the workmanship looks fantastic, and they left the property clean when the job was finished. I would definitely recommend Rob and StormGuard to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional roofing company. It was a pleasure working with them, and I’m very happy with the finished roof!

  Storm-Guard was amazing. I had replaced a few roofs in my younger days and know how difficult it is to get it to be perfect without any nails or debris on the ground afterwards. The job was not only reasonable price-wise but also beautiful when finished. TOTALLY recommend them! Beautiful Roof!

  Storm Guard was quick to respond when we had shingles pull up along our ridge vent on our existing roof (Storm Guard did not install existing roof). They performed a temporary fix and returned a few days later to install a new and improved ridge vent at a reasonable price. Great job.

  They were prompt to come inspect the job and to give an estimate. Pricing was clear. They came when they said they would. Cleaned up after themselves. Communication was ongoing. The finished job looks great. Would highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

  First time home owner here, had some nasty wind storms and roof suffered some damage. First company called unfortunately wasn't able to come out so after looking on Google I found Stormguard and I'm glad I did. Rob came out ASAP, we went over options and decided to put a claim in with insurance. I never had to do something like this before and Rob walked me through the process. From start to finish I had a sense of ease feeling I was in good hands of a trustworthy roofer. My roof was replaced within a day and they left the property as clean as it was before they arrived. Stormguard has exceeded my expectations and get my recommendation.
