  My wife and I were approached by 2 representatives of the company back in January offering a great deal on labor for being an early listing for the year. We hired them to replace our gutters and they were saying they replaced siding too. They were great with our constantly shifting availability and that we needed time to remove asbestos siding and dispose of that. The problems begin with the subcontractors they hired to put on the siding not using long enough nails and in a gentle breeze the siding falls off the house. I contacted the representative several times over many weeks about getting it put back up and he kept insisting they would repair it and finish the caulking that the subcontractors left undone. That never happened. When you sign there little, job is done sheet, expect to never see them again. No matter how terrible of a job the people they HIRED to do the job, they don't care. They don't care about the job anymore, just how many contracts they can turn and burn. The gutters were the only bit I was content with except I had to pay an additional $5000 because the subcontractors had knocked off a piece of fascia and it all needed to be replaced. I would never use them again even if they were last roofing company left in the state.

  I was disappointed to find that this company engaged in unsolicited door-to-door marketing by leaving a business card in my front door. While I understand businesses need to advertise, I don’t appreciate uninvited solicitation at my home. Respecting homeowners’ privacy and allowing potential customers to reach out on their own would leave a much better impression.

  I had someone from Stellar Roofing knock on my door and say that they were doing some roofs in my neighborhood and offered a discount if I book in 30 days. They were quick to get someone out here for an estimate. I’ve had to buy a roof on my previous home and it was a generally easy process to get estimates from multiple roofers. Most would come by, take some measurements and pictures and then email me the estimate within a couple days. It took maybe 10 minutes of my time and that’s what I am used to. I was not prepared for a full sales pitch that took hours of my day. The cherry on top was that the quote for a roof and gutters came in at over $66,000 - how??? This is a house not a commercial building. Other reputable and insured contractors have given me quotes between $12,000 and $20,000 depending on the quality of materials. How are they over 3x as much? Sadly, this was not a good use of my time and I will definitely not be calling them back. I did find it strange that there was an emphasis about the owner being a devout Christian who holds the golden rule in high standard, the sales presentation even had a slide with the quote from the gospel of Matthew. There are other parts of the Bible that talk about USURY, so, there’s that too. The quote didn’t include a break down of materials, labor charge, old roof removal, etc- it was just hyper inflated and didn’t seem to really be based on anything.

  Rep Ryan Courtwright came out and inspected my roof, spoke to me about options and product and then NEVER sent me a quote, even after I contacted him multiple times for a month. If I can not even get a timely quote, what does that say about Stellar's service??

  Had my roof replaced by Stellar today and they did an amazing job! They were efficient, they cleaned everything up with no indication they were ever there except a beautiful roof. My project manager Eric was amazing! He answered all of our questions and when he realized the j-channel was removed by the previous owners he immediately went to the wear-house to make sure it was put on and the roof was done right. I would highly recommend Eric and Stellar roofing to anyone looking to have their roof replaced!!

  The roofing crew was excellent at what they did. Eric was on the job a few times and checked in with me about the progress of the work. When the job was finished my yard and patio were cleaned better than it was when they started. Everyone was very courteous they did fantastic work very happy with every thing. I cannot say enough about how excellent the work was. It was a complete new rood job and it was finished in 1 day. That included tearing off all the old materials and rebuilding> I would highly recommend Stellar Roofing to anyone who asks.
