  Had a small leak in my roof, simple shingles replacement, a guy came out and before he even looked at the issue told me that it would be pointless because id be waiting a month to get it fixed as they are really busy. He seemed unmotivated to even do the work or help me out at all. Once I mentioned the fact that im going to right a review he offered to call the owner of the company to "make things right". Very unprofessional, he even gave me a card, for what so I know exactly who wasted my time... Horrible experience as I have a new baby and would like this repaired quickly. If you need a repair dont use stanley, he also mentioned if we needed a whole roof that would be a different story. Literally hate that I even let him in my home.

Our representative arrived at the scheduled appointment on time and inspected the situation. Based on the recent storms and heavy rainfall in our area, our schedule has been filled with repair requests, and rather than making a promise we couldn't keep, we were honest about our current repair timeline of approximately 4–6 weeks. We did not refuse the repair. We offered to install a temporary tarp to help protect the affected area until we could complete the shingle replacement. When you explained that the repair was more urgent than our schedule allowed, we also suggested contacting one of the other roofing contractors who had already evaluated the roof so you could hopefully have the repair completed sooner. We believed that was the most helpful and honest advice we could provide given your situation. We understand how stressful any roof leak can be, especially with a new baby at home, and we truly sympathize with that concern. Our goal is always to provide honest timelines rather than tell customers what they want to hear and leave them disappointed later. While our workload is currently heavier than usual due to the recent storms, we believe transparency is the right approach. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry we weren't able to meet your timeline. We wish you and your family the very best and hope your roof issue was resolved quickly..

  Total storm chasers, which is fine if that’s what you’re looking for. They are eager to get access to your insurance to start a claim. So if you are seeking a smaller repair or don’t want to go through insurance, expect to be put at the bottom of their priority list. The tone quickly changed when I made it clear they wouldn’t be given access to my insurance. They told me they would charge $500 just to place a tarp if I didn’t do an insurance claim. At first they were eager to get to my house to assess the situation asap, but again when I told them an insurance claim wasn’t necessary that changed. I was told they would be by first thing in the morning. I didn’t hear from them all day. I checked my outdoor camera and nobody had been to my house well into the afternoon and storms were coming. I finally got a response claiming that someone had been to my house and they would send me a quote. Maybe my camera missed them somehow, but nobody showed up on the camera. I don’t fully believe they even went to my house (I wasn’t home) that evening I got a text that it would cost $750 to replace 2 shingles! I’m no expert but that seemed very high to me. I called another roofer who took a look and laughed when I told him how much Stanley quoted me. He said it’s a 10 minute fix tops and he would only charge me $100. He warned me about how storm chaser roofers operate and said just placing the tarp they would likely use a ton of nails which would in turn damage my roof and then result in a much bigger fix. Do your research and find yourself a honest roofer. Sadly not everyone is honest and are only interested in maximizing their profits. The honest roofer I went with is Eickhorst Construction. Highly recommend if you want straight forward and honest.

As for repair pricing, costs can vary significantly depending on factors such as roof type, accessibility, surrounding damage, and whether repairs are temporary or warrantied. Comparing quotes without considering scope can sometimes lead to misunderstandings. We are committed to honest communication, fair pricing, and quality workmanship.   Used them for hail damage claim. Horrible. Dropped the ball. Operations manager had me on the roof marking the damage just before insurance adjuster showed ( I’m 71) while he sat in his truck. I told him his markings had washed off. Said “ I have to make some phone calls” and climbed back in his truck. Adjuster had to go by what I marked because my Stanley Roofing “expert”was too busy to do the job.That’s just part of the sad story. Pass on these guys.

  They advertise that they repair, replace roof when the call they only do tear offs , don't say you do things that you don't do. Must not make enough money so they use excuse not enough manpower.

  I had the best experience with Hunter Klotter with Stanley roofing. I pretty much gave up hope that my insurance was going to cover a new roof for me. Hunter was very easy to work and the communication with him was great. The entire process was stress free. I will be recommending Stanley roofing to all my neighbors and friends.

  cant say enough but good things about them, stanley roofing fought my statefarm claim for a year step by step to get my complete roof replaced, as well as new siding and gutters, if you have statefarm prepare for a long patient battle. jeremy did an awesome job from beginning till the end, they are based off dundee but i live in loves park il so thats about 45 mins away so im glad i chose them instead of these local contractors you see that have big lifted expensive new trucks (eye out thats where yall money and insurance money going)to fund their expensive work trucks and billboards and ads, .. loves park and all surrounding rockford!! hear me out!! these guys are legit !!! remember they from dundee but still came out here and completed the task. for roofing needs...contact stanley roofing's jeremy before yall see these local big lifted trucks at you front door out to take your money .. def recommend

  Hunter stopped by for a free roof inspection today, and the experience was fantastic! If you are looking for a big, serious company to get your work done, look no further. Hunter was professional and very knowledgeable. We were able to talk through multiple different options for types of claims that would work best for me. Do yourself a favor and just go with these guys.

From our first meeting through completion of our project, Austin demonstrated knowledge ,and a genuine commitment to our satisfaction.   These guys were great start to finish. I purchased my first home knowing the roof would need to be replaced in the first year… a few weeks after moving in we had a storm with high winds that ripped off some shingles… the insurance company, of course, wasted no time telling me to fix it or they would drop me… Joe from Stanley was the first contractor to provide a quote and the ONLY contractor to recommend filing an insurance claim. Joe and the team at Stanley we awesome in dealing with , what I considered, a very unprofessional and unethical, insurance company who tried to continually write a small check, ignore building code, and basically get out of honoring the agreement. The insurance payout ended up being close to 10 times the initial offer . The work was completed in a day far beyond my expectations and Stanley was great to work with through out the entire process.. If you have any type a work needed for your home that this company can provide, do yourself a favor and work with them. They go above and beyond to provide superior work and establish a relationship with the owner. I have a list of smaller projects to take care of over the next 1-2 years.. Stanley and Joe are the ONLY people I will hire.

  Jeremy and the team at Stanley Roofing were great to work with. During the bid process, there was no pressure selling and provided great advice on the approach to repair our roof. After we signed our contract they worked with us on the deposit and their team over communicated about planning the roof repair. The team at Stanley Roofing handled the whole process with the city for permits and material drop off. They knocked it out in one day and their crew was very friendly and clean after installation. I'm usually a very skeptical person when it comes to contractors but the team at Stanley Roofing exceed my expectations.

  I had a great experience working with Stanly Roofing Company, especially Austin Klotter. From the beginning, he stood out for his professionalism, persistence and knowledge. Dealing with State Farm Insurance was an extremely frustrating experience due to the typical “deny and delay” responses, but Austin knew how to navigate the process. He took the time to explain each step clearly, documented everything thoroughly, and advocated on my behalf to make sure nothing was overlooked. What has been a stressful and confusing situation felt much more manageable with his guidance. He was at my home when the adjuster went on the roof. We had three-way phone conversations where he could offer technical solutions to the insurance agent’s inquiries. He also wrote a letter explaining what happens when trees fall on a roof and replacing a few shingles is not a proper repair. Austin was responsive, honest, and genuinely committed to helping me get the roof replacement I needed. I never felt like just another customer -- he made sure I understood my options and pushed for a fair outcome. He never failed to answer my telephone calls or my questions promptly. If you’re dealing with insurance challenges and need someone who knows how to handle the back-and-forth, I highly recommend asking for Austin at Stanly Roofing Company. He made a huge difference.

  I would recommend Stanley Roofing they did a great job and were very quick they also came out on a Sunday in the rain and put the tarp on my roof the shingles match perfect I will be using them in the future
