  I had a pretty bad experience with these guys. Chad Sherr was my point of contact. Really bad communication, job took way longer then quoted, and they left material on my front lawn for over 3 weeks and ruined the grass. Told they would be by the next day to pick up and no one ever came back to pick up. Called repeatedly and eventually just moved the material myself. They put a black roof on the house when I had picked another color. This was the explanation I was given... "spoke with Chad and he did receive your shingle selection. Then he found out that shingle was discontinued and just moved forward. I’m sorry no one reached out to let you know that. As for the soffit the roofing contractor will be going out to address that. It’s just that the guys that were there doing the roof do not do soffit work. They have a specialty group for that kind of work They will be replacing the soffit and getting the wood painted." Soffit took another 2 weeks and looks horrible.

  Roof is barely 4 years old and is leaking. Southerpro will not stand behind their work and said they would charge a service fee plus repair costs. Read your agreement before hiring this company.

Our workmanship warranty is a 5-year, non-transferable warranty, which is standard practice within the roofing industry. This warranty applies only to the original homeowner who contracted our services, so unfortunately, it would not extend to your situation as the property has been sold and our customer no longer owns the home. We’d also like to emphasize that the roof we installed passed all county and internal inspections, and it has performed flawlessly over the past four years, enduring numerous storms, including the strong winds of Hurricane Helene just a few weeks ago. However, with the recent arrival of Hurricane Milton—the first major hurricane to hit our area in many years—even newer roofs can be vulnerable to extreme winds, airborne debris (such as tree limbs), or wind-driven rain for an extended period of time entering through ventilation points. These factors could explain the leak you experienced. Such issues are due to external weather conditions rather than installation quality, which is why homeowners' insurance typically covers windstorm damages.   I would give zero stars if able. They damaged my vent drain , for which I had to hire a plumber to fix. They peeled the paint off of my house and finally they did not re-attach my gutters. They left them hanging off my roof and I had to re-install them myself. According to my roof inspector the new metal roof appears to be damaged but my pleas to them for help have been to no avail. All this while being extremely rude and very hard to deal with. Help yourself and stay away from them!!!

  I have gotten no communication regarding My roof. AFTER CONTRACT WAS SIGNED NO COMMUNICATION. It took a month of promises for someone to come out and tarp the roof. After they lied and said they coming in 2 days. No show. Now we have water damage in multiple places on the roof. They have been falsely portraying themselves as roofers out of Lee county. They are out of Tampa and no office in Lee county. We have now waited for a 6th day they promised to show up! Now it's the 9th day, 3rd in a row they are a no show. After texting this morning saying they were coming today, still a no show. They threw their garbage in my back yard when I have signs stating Beware of Dog. They threw a tar lid into my backyard. I guess too lazy to use the dumpster. Without knowing the tar was there my dog slid in it, had to be taken to the vet, foaming at the mouth and lethargic. He's on 2 different medications. I found a bottle of urine intentionally behind my hose reel. A soda can in my compost bin. Various water bottles, food and fast food wrappers in my yard. If I wasn't handicapped I'd clean it myself. When I spoke with installer they were sexist and intimidating. They refused to speak to me. We came home and workmen we're having a picnic on my porch. With 2 men that were NOT part of the job. Which put more tar on my house. My NEW fence has tar on it from workers entering the back yard. They literally just knocked on my door...they said they can't work today, my house is sealed they'll be back tomorrow, again. At least I saw a real person. My opinion is that this is a company that lies, miss represents themselves and is carelessly dangerous. At the end of the day, a roof is replaceable and money means nothing. My dog could have died. Thanks to the proximity of the Vet, we were lucky.

  Absolutely horrible and unprofessional. No communication, doesn’t show up for days, left a mess and nails all over. I highly suggest staying away from this company.

  EXTREMELY UNRESPONSIVE, if you need a roof call somebody else...ANYBODY ELSE! they not only were unresponsive and didn't bother to advise they weren't coming out to get the job done multiple times, it was more than a month later before it finally got done, then it FAILED Inspection for nonsense they didn't bother to repair. THEN....WAIT FOR IT!...one of the workers that was there to install a roof, entered my home thru an attic crawlspace and helped himself to use my bathroom, to open closet doors and get this...help himself to an ice cream in the freezer! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? most people know how they leave their home, and I KNOW how i left my home, 1st giveaway was the deadbolt wasn't locked...why you might wonder, because they didn't have a key to lock it when they exited my house. If i would have Jewelry or money in the house, i am certain that it would have been stolen. i cannot stress enough to you, choose ANOTHER Roofer! Follow up to the owner response, everything I said DID IN FACT happen, they are trying to cover themselves, nice try though. My roof was 1st scheduled September 6th, then it was rescheduled for September 12th, WELL AHEAD OF THE HURRICANE, so there was NO DANGER to anyone almost 2 full weeks out ahead of the storm. There was NO ACCESS to my home, since it had already sold prior to the roof installation, there was no key in the lockbox as I removed it myself, there were NO other doors unlocked, so therefore, no potential buyers entering or showings could have occurred. if I hadn’t already removed the Ring security cameras prior to closing, I would have had video of the breaking and entering that occurred, and I surely would have pressed charges, since the cameras were removed, I can only warn others to the ethics in question. If anyone would like proof, i can and will provide emails and text messages. Also, the county FAILED the 1st inspection, (I have that proof as well) they had to go out the following morning for a 2nd inspection, AFTER Sou

  Our customer's roof installation was rescheduled due to weather prior to the hurricane, and the following week, Hurricane Ian made landfall. We then asked our staff to remain at home to be with their families in order to give them ample time to prepare their homes for the hurricane. Our customers are ordinarily extremely appreciative that we take every precaution so as not to begin such vulnerable exterior work when rain chances change days ahead of time or unexpectedly increase with little notice. This September may have been one for the record books with rain even prior to Hurricane Ian's rain and winds that came in late September, but we were able to get the project complete relatively quickly with all things considered. The roof is complete and the roof passed all local inspections as well as all quality control inspections from our team and the project came out beautiful and is something we are extremely proud of. Regarding the statements from our customer about us entering the interior of the home, using the restroom, looking through closets and ultimately taking ice cream out of the freezer, we can assure you that this did not occur and would not occur on any of our projects, by any member of our team. We have been in business for over 11 years and have been fortunate to install approximately 20 full roofs, each and every week, all across the great State of Florida. You can rest assured knowing said statements are not accurate in any way and such statements have never been made by any of the thousands of customers we have been so fortunate to serve. It is important to note, the customer was not present during the roof installation as this particular home was vacant and actively listed for sale when we performed the work. The customer mentioned to us that she did not see any of this occur as she was not present and is speculating due to her recollection of the way things were in the home.   Poor business practices, a big volume contractor, Put a lien on my house for more than he could possible be owed (not withstanding damage) even after he received an additional check. He included an amount of approx 2600 that he already received. Manager or owner Does not even speak you about a complaint, you have to go through a secretary. When they began the job, they Left non English (one some english) men to do my roof and the foreman left immediately i had no way of contacting him So i became the manager, I argued with the one man about covering my roof with tarps before he left, knowing that heavy rain was expected, he would not do it, but came back in the morning after torrential rain all night and than covered the roof. The next day with rain expected the men came to work I had to stop them. They had one interest to finish the job, not concerned about the quality. The following day before i could blink they took off the tarps and finished roof without letting it air dry. As a result I have pictures of many big wet stains, I also have consulted a mold expert who said i must have Mildew remeiation asap,he was not selling either he is ibn a different locale. Mold is deadly the owner nevr picked up the phone. I was in restoration contractor I realize this company is unscrulous. Last but not least tthey did not even use the magnetic roller to pick the nails but did by hand, i never even knew that this roller existed and was used,

  These guys will put a decent roof on your house pretty quick, but they can't handle any of the back office items. They made multiple accounting errors and tried to pass that cost on to us, the customer. We hired them to install a roof in AUG of 2020 and I'm still working through billing issues with them in FEB of 2021. Additionally, I asked them to clean up some of the tar on the front of the roof several times and each time they told me "someone will be out next week to fix it", however it still has not been addressed. They want to get work done in a day and collect money. Not customer focused at all. Derek is shady and always has a full voicemail.

  I want to share how much I love my new roof! Your team did the job all in one day, and there have been no reports of stray roof nails from my neighbors-- so special kudos on that! The house looked so good, I just had the house painted to match the new roof. I also want to mention that the special coating you used on my Florida Room has really made a difference toward the coolness of that room this summer. Thank you for your expertise on that recommendation.

  5/5 Stars – True Service After the Sale! They Honor Their Work Years Later. I am incredibly impressed with Southern Pro Roofing. They originally installed my roof back in 2018, and it has been great. Recently, I noticed an active leak and called them up to see what could be done. Honored the Warranty: Instead of giving me the runaround or making excuses because the installation was years ago, they stood behind their work immediately.Prompt Response: They took the leak seriously, scheduling a technician to come out and inspect the issue right away.Expert Repair: The repair crew identified the source of the problem quickly and fixed it properly, stopping the active leak in its tracks.It is easy for a company to be nice when they are trying to sell you a new roof, but the real test is how they treat you years down the road. Southern Pro has proven that their customer service doesn't end when the project is paid for. Highly recommended! P.S. Kiara, who answers the phone and does the scheduling, is amazing! She made the whole coordination process incredibly easy and stress-free.

  Amazing job on our new roof! Gabe understood when we had to delay our install, there was no pressure. Their initial presentation covered all our questions, and estimate was very reasonable (unlike 2 other companies we got bids from). When we were ready to get it done, they responded immediately and got it done within days of our HOA approval. Highly recommend Southern Pro!

  I highly recommend Southern Pro Roofing & Restoration. We needed a full replacement and our contact there, Gabe (one of the owners of the business), was extremely helpful in every step of the process. We actually were out of town when we arranged all the details and Southern Pro helped us take care of everything, including going out of their way to help us choose a color for our new roof, as we were not home for them to provide samples. They completed the entire job - including cleanup - while we were away, so we did not have to hear all the noise that accompanies the installation of a new roof. And they used a superior shingle (GAF Timberline HDZ) at a price competitive with other estimates that did not quote a product of that caliber.

  The folks at Southern Pro did a great job from beginning to end. They worked hand in hand with my insurance company. The crew that tore off the old shingles (all in one day) were hard working and pleasant. Southern Pro worked with my insurance company to insure that the gutters and downspouts were of the same quality that I had. Kiara in the home office was a pleasure to work with - keeping me up to date all the way through.
