  Not happy. Three times these guys tries telling me we'll just skip the work and you can keep the insurance money. Happened with my shed roof, my gutters and my windows. They had issues with my insurance company (one of the big ones) which i didn't, they were great with me. They claimed they couldn't get paid and wouldn't be finishing the job. My insurance company called me to explain they were trying to claims stuff not allowed or covered so they were denied. They spread the job out from February- finalizing in June. In June they refused to complete the items on the invoice and insisted on refunding me instead. Now the gutters they put up don't match the house, so now I need to hire a painter and they didn't replace the window screens on the windows (also on the contract) so I have to hire another company for that. Such a mess from start to finish with these guys, I do not recommend for any kind of insurance claim job. **Updated - After speaking with my ins company I found out that Sonners failed to fill out and submit a standard form to certify the installation of the class iv tiles I had purchased, so now I have hired another company to come in a certify the tiles and submit that information for a huge discount on my ins premium. I was told they had completed this during the job, they flat out lied.

Throughout the entire process, you were included on all correspondence with your insurance company. We were transparent and thorough in explaining what was covered under your policy and what was not. The line items you referenced were indeed approved by your insurer; however, they declined to cover the administrative fees associated with our role as your general contractor. This exclusion was clearly outlined in your contract and was explained to you in detail on multiple occasions. It’s also important to note that, through our efforts, we secured an additional $9,000 in claim approval for you—funds that otherwise would have been left unclaimed. These funds cover the specific items you’ve raised concerns about. Because your insurance provider did not allow reimbursement for administrative or management services, those funds were left entirely in your hands to allocate as you see fit, including the option to hire and manage your own subcontractors, as your adjuster indicated was expected. We understand this situation has been frustrating, and we truly regret that your experience with your insurance provider was difficult. While we cannot control how insurers choose to handle claims, we were persistent in our communication with them—often on a weekly and, toward the end, daily basis. We have a complete record of this correspondence, and you are welcome to review it at any time, as you were copied on all messages. It’s always our goal to serve our clients with integrity and professionalism. While we recognize that not every client relationship results in mutual satisfaction, we stand by the efforts we made on your behalf and the value we delivered.   Terrible contractor, lies through his teeth, acts friendly, bit shows his true side after the contract is signed. Definitely not ever recommended.

  Dave and his skilled team were professional and expertly completed the job in nearly one day! All debris was picked up and our house looks beautiful with a fresh roof! We highly recommend Sonners Contracting if you’re in need of roof replacement or repair.

  Dave went above and beyond on our roof replacement. Dave handled EVERYTHING from the permit to the final inspection. Dave communicated with our insurance as well. Dave made the process so easy, we HIGHLY recommend Sonners Contracting, Inc!!

  Over the moon with our new roof from Sonners! They were very professional, and the workers were extremely careful of our property and keeping it picked up and clean. Harrison and Dave were a joy to work with and were quick to respond to all our questions, had great communication with us, and attentive to any of our concerns. Will definitely refer them out in the future!

  Sonners Contracting Inc was recommended to us from a friend when we had a small leak in the roof. So glad we took our friend’s recommendation. Dave was on our roof same day and fixed the problem super quick. He didn’t even want to charge us! 10/10 would recommend to anyone with roofing needs. THANK YOU DAVE!

  Contracted Dave to work with my insurance company to submit claims for extensive hail damage to my roof, stucco and house exterior. After many weeks of my insurance company stalling and dragging their feet to complete the claim, Dave’s diligence and persistence got everything approved and funded. Thanks Dave for all your efforts and the great job on the new roof, gutters and complete restucco.

  It was our first time ever needing to have a roof replaced and Dave was great about answering all of the questions I had about replacing our roof. He was thorough in his explanations and always responsive with any questions we had along the way. Would definitely recommend this company if you have any roofing needs!
