We contacted Soare Contracting (Kevin attended) back in 2025 for an estimate for replacing our roof. We wanted to stay with a local company (we live in Colwood/West Shore) and were immediately impressed by his candour and comments. We did not seek a second estimate because of the value and expertise Soare Contracting has. Our roof was replaced in May of 2026 and it was an exceptional job. After Colby attended with their work crew, and assessed the items ordered and delivered for preparation replacement, the Team dismantled our existing shingles. Ron the roofer did a methodical/excellent job of installing the new shingles, ridge caps and vents. Marion was our contact liaison person and she was fantastic about answering any questions we may have had. Colby finished the job with an incredibly innovative way to replace/repair a small hole we had in our soffit. This is a first class team. If you want something done well and right, call Soare Contracting. We’re glad we did ! C and T Smith.

Soare Contracting recently completed a metal roof and gutter install on our home and we would highly recommend them to anyone. From the initial contact requesting a quote, I could tell that Soare placed value on good customer service. Marion and Kevin were quick with answering questions and providing us with a quote, they also explained the process and timeline in detail. Once the project started, we were very fortunate to have a wonderful crew on site who were respectful, friendly, and diligent workers who took a lot of pride in the work they were doing. The roof and gutters look amazing! Thank you!

Trevor and his team helped install and modify our metal roof (main house and garage) over a period of 18 months. All the work--including a complex, conical feature--was beautifully executed and technically perfect. Trevor also identified and fixed critical deficiencies left by a previous roofer. And he installed a roof-sprinkler system (for protection against wildfires) that required custom crafting of roof ladders and brackets for water hoses. We couldn't be happier with Soare Contracting. They're friendly, come in on budget, and are 100 percent reliable. And the roofs they build are works of art.

Cannot say enough about these great people! Marion booked us in right away to check out a problem with our metal roof. Colby did an inspection and fixed the problem which turned out to be minor. He wasn't going to charge us anything but we insisted he bill for his time.

Beyond exceptional service from Soare Roofing recently! Kevin and Marion came to our rescue after a house fire. They sympathized with our situation and kept in close touch until it came time to roof our home with top quality steel. Their team of Trevor and Quinton were there when expected and worked very hard to get this job done and protect our home from further damage. Everyone was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We'd highly recommend Soare for your roofing project. Truly a pleasure and we (and all the neigbourhood) are thrilled at the results. Many thanks!!!

Soare were extremely professional in all respects of the work. We were impressed by how safety conscious they were for their employees and how they offered us their references and documentation before we even accepted their estimate. They were very good about working around our schedule. We have recommended them to our friends.
