If youre going to drive dangerously and aggressively, don't have your company name on the side of your vehicle. Lifted GMC grey pick up endangered my family on the highway and showed any lack of care, or responsibility. Could have caused a major accident.

I had a soffit repair done by SML….they charged me $452 for a five minute job …that took two screws for parts needed…very disappointed …price gouging a senior citizen

Had phone and text communication with SML for minor roof and vent repairs. Apparently, someone came to my house to look at the roof when I wasn’t home despite my request that they arrange to come when I could be there. They confirmed a date and approximate time and estimated cost via text. I agreed. No one showed up on the scheduled day. After several texts and a call to enquire what was going on, a text finally arrived late aft apologizing and saying that “something had come up”. Fair enough. Rescheduled for the next morning, but no time was given. I asked that they send a text to confirm when I should expect them but received none. Called and texted late morning but no one responded. After noon, I texted them not to bother and contacted another roofer. Not impressed with SML’s lack of follow through.

I can highly recommend SML Construction. They were straight up and easy to work with from start to finish. They did my neighbor's roof last Fall and while they were here, gave me a quote as well. I had my roof done in the Spring and they honoured the original estimate. They worked with Above the Rest Roofing for this particular job. Zach and his team were excellent. They knew their stuff and readily engaged in a great discussion before hand on what we each expected the roof needed. Upon inspection, we came to agreement on a plan and his team did a great job. They stayed on estimate and with the extras, the cost came in where I was expecting it too. I really appreciate the respect shown me by Zach and all of his team. SML Construction & Above the Rest Roofing set good examples of what upstanding contractors should be.

Just had our new roof installed in one day. That included some plywood repairs that were discovered after the old shingles were removed. Great crew...fast and clean. One very minor issue was quickly resolved. Best price...would recommend to anyone! Great Work!

Great experience from start to finish with SML. Showed up to start when they said they would and left our property the way it was when they started. Very professional and courteous, very easy to communicate with. Cannot recommend enough. Thanks gang.

I had water infiltration through my skylight and the insurance company sent me SML Construction. They came right away and removed the snow and ice accumulation from my entrance roof. Once I contacted them to remove my skylight, they were on the job as requested and it was done in one day. Thank you for your quick and professional work.

I did extensive research and found SML to be very honest, fair, and knowledgeable. I would have zero issues recommending them to a friend or family member. I'm hoping to hire them again for a few more projects around my home since I was so pleased with my results.

The guys at SML Roofing gave us a competitive quote and were able to schedule us in a very short amount of time. We are very happy with the workmanship and they were in and out in a timely manner. There wasn’t one piece of debris left behind. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs!

Sml has to be the greatest company in the Ottawa surroundings, all the guys have their certification with the product they install. They make sure everything is 100% well done. They are so polite and made me laugh. I would absolutely recommend if you need any work done :) So impressed by this company.
