  Let me start by saying everyone at Smithrock has been friendly. The issue is poor communication. My wife set up a visit at the end of August to provide an estimate for a roof and siding replacement on her parents home. The appointment went well and it was agreed that we would receive a quote and samples the next week. After 2 weeks, my wife called to inquire, she was advised that she would have a quote by end of day. A month later, we still have no quote or samples.

  We took a lot of time researching who to go with for our roof, including best shingles, shingle warranty and workmanship warranty. We met with six different roofing companies, and are very happy that we went with Smithrock. We thought Smithrock was most willing to stand by their workmanship, which was telling. Caleb was incredibly thorough, responsive and kind. We never felt pressured or rushed with him. The rest of the Smithrock team we worked with (Britney & Michael) were great as well! The work started on time (they showed up 15 minutes early) and they replaced our steep roof in 1 day. No mess was left behind, and they had a project manager on site.

  After doing tons of research to find a roofing contractor, we are incredibly glad we chose Smithrock Roofing. From the very first inspection, it was obvious they cared about doing things the right way. While another company only viewed our roof from the street, Smithrock actually got on the roof, documented the issues and took the time to explain everything in detail. There was never any pressure — just honest recommendations and great communication. Shane and the team were fantastic throughout the entire process. They were responsive, professional and genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable with every decision. They helped us choose the right roofing system for our home and even worked with us on replacing our gutters at the same time. The finished roof and black gutters completely transformed the appearance of our home. The craftsmanship is excellent, and it's clear that Smithrock takes great pride in their work. How much does a roof cost in 2026? It’s one of the first questions homeowners ask, and for good reason. It’s also difficult to answer responsibly without inspecting the property. Roof measurements only tell us the size. They don’t show the roof’s condition, complexity, or what must be corrected for the new system to perform properly.
