  Tiss the season the hustlers peddlers come out of the woodwork. So dusk get a knock at the door. Deer in the headlights individual handing out a flyer. I made contact with the salesman on the flyer. Set a initial appointment a no show. I reached out a second time rescheduled this time a half hour late he finally arrived. No drone to do a detailed overview asked if l have a ladder to inspect. Now the pressure pitch to sign on the spot. I wanted a few more bids and be able to look at past projects from the curb, check for permits if they pulled any. He refused. Not sure why he wouldn't answer my request. Referrals mean something. Looking at photos on a flyer your handing out not sure if you even performed the work? I felt uncomfortable and went elsewhere where l was given the privilege of looking at a couple of past projects and confirmed building permits were pulled. Do your homework and throughly investigate these companies its in your best interest. Here's your proud salesperson

Depending on the home and conditions, that may include a physical inspection, drone imagery, or both. We also encourage homeowners to gather multiple estimates if they're not ready to make a decision, and there is never an obligation to move forward with us. As for past projects, we have completed hundreds of roofing and exterior projects throughout the Twin Cities, all performed under the required permits when applicable. We are always happy to provide references, photos of completed work, and answer questions about our process.   I couldn't be happier. Justin was able to reopen a declined claim from our insurance company and get a complete roof replacement from them. The discussion about materials and processes before work started was thorough. The removal of old shingles and installation of new was unbelievably fast and professional. The team protected our plants during removal and cleaned up all debris when done. I am happy and very impressed with Smart Builders

  They recently did my roof last fall and both Tim and Dmitri were very professional and helpful in getting the work done . Also , reached out 2 days ago to Dmitri about having a Gutter checked for possible issues and he was there within the hour to check and fix . Great customer service .

  Working with Jack @ Smart Builders was a great experience. He took full ownership of the project right from the inspection, review and the back and forth with the insurance company. There was a hand off of our case from one case agent to another and Jack made it easy to work with them. The work itself got done in a day with no hassle. The Smart Builders team was easy to work with, great clean up afterwards. Did not have to worry about any nails or anything left out. I was dreading the whole ordeal but they made it seamless and handled it flawlessly. No hesitation in recommending Jack at all.

  My 5-year-old roof developed a leak just before I was leaving town for several weeks. Smart Builders Group, Inc. responded immediately and fixed the issue that same afternoon. Their repair estimate was thousands lower than the other two quotes I received. They also found and repaired a damaged roof vent cap that two other companies missed, and they cleaned my entire roof and gutter guards as well. Excellent service, fair pricing, and outstanding attention to detail. Highly recommended!
