  Bob from Skyward pushed and sold my 80 year old in laws into replacing 3 roofs on their property in SI. He grossly over priced the installations and then when a leak occurred on one of the properties, he refused to make things right. He also installed on top of 2 layers of existing roofing when that is not allowed by building codes for flat roofs, to which we will be approaching the borough about his questionable practices. Stay away from this "contractor". UPDATE 5/23/22: We now have multiple leaks on all three homes they did work on and they will not return our calls...

  Christopher, I do not appreciate you trying to make us look like the bad guy here like we tried to take advantage of your in-laws. That’s low and untrue. For anyone reading this, here is the real story. Christopher called to setup an appointment for his in-laws so we went out and we did the inspection and did find three roofs that needed to be replaced (which they already knew). The clients did not want to pay the amount that would be required for the removal of the old roofs and installation of the new roofs (as suggested) and opted to have us install a new  membrane layer on the flat portions of the roofs instead (against our recommendations). We performed the work as agreed for the price agreed on. Regarding the leak, it’s coming from the shingle portion of the roof, which we were not contracted to repair (pictures have been sent showing the exact spot). We informed the client that someone (us or another company) would have to fix the shingle portion to stop the leak as the flat roof was repaired and is not the issue. We would be happy to perform this replacement but we do not work for free nor expect anyone else to. We came out 4 separate occasions to patch the leak in our work (which there wasn’t one) and even put over $1,000 worth of silicon over the membrane to just 1,000% make sure that our work was not faulty and patch any micro holes (which again, were not there). This is a case of the following: 1. The client trying to save money against our recommendations to put a Band-Aid on a larger problem. 2. The client trying us to get us to perform work that was not part of the contract. 3. The client wanting us to provide a warranty on a 25-year-old shingle roof that we did not replace or repair (we only repaired the flat roof as per our agreement). We understand that during issues like this that people get upset but it’s still unfair that clients go against recommendations, try to save money by cutting work that we suggest to do then have issues and pas

  We had a flat roof on our building that had quietly been losing the battle for two seasons. New membrane went down fast and the whole thing has been watertight ever since.
