I wouldn't hire these guys again and here is why. I hired them in early December 2025 with their promise that they could easily be done before Christmas. The problem is that once they received most of the money under the contract, which was fairly quickly, they quit sending full crews out to my house. It was a couple of guys here, one guy there, and they would show up with inadequate supplies and/or no tools. I warned them they couldn't leave tiles stacked on the roof during the Santa Ana winds, but they didn't listen and tiles were blowing off the roof and damaging other portions of the house. My entire family was scared they might be killed if they simply went outside. They tried to get away with shoddy work, and the building inspector called them out on it. The inspector indicated he would make them comply with the code requirements, but he couldn't "cite them for ugly work. Finally, the owner came out and looked at his crews' work and had them rework and finish off the remaining items. They family finished during the last half of January 2026. I will update this after a good, hard rain and see if there work holds up.

Water that gets beneath the roofing surface can damage the roof deck and sheathing over time. These materials support the roofing system, so you shouldn't ignore weakened sections. Damage often starts with a leak caused by missing shingles, cracked tiles, damaged flashing, or worn roofing materials. If moisture remains trapped, the wood may soften, rot, or lose strength. Signs of roof deck damage can include sagging areas, soft spots, recurring leaks, musty odors, and water stains inside the property. Repair usually begins by removing the damaged roofing materials and checking the condition of the wood below. You may need to replace weak or rotted sections before restoring the roof surface. Skyline Energy Roofing provides roof deck and sheathing repair services in Los Angeles and nearby areas. Our team can inspect the damaged section, identify the moisture source, and repair the affected materials before the problem spreads further.17 hours agoCall now
