  2 out of our 3 new skylights are leaking since getting a new roof from shield. Someone has come out one time to “fix” it and they’re still leaking. Shield doesn’t answer our calls anymore. WOULD LOVE FOR SOMEONE TO GET IN TOUCH. They sell it to you with their “fabulous” warranty but it’s ultimately worthless since they don’t respond. Save yourself the hassle and go with someone else

  On Sept 1st I filed a report with Mon Co. Sheriff's Department to investigate the case as fraud. Hey Shield, are you guys still in business? Been waiting on my roof since May. Now I'm not receiving any communication. A call or email would be great. Thanks.

  Seems like an unusual experience with us Jessica. We haven't had these problems before although late material and rescheduling due to weather does happen. We also order a certain % more of material to avoid having to go back and get more in case we run out. This is an expense that is covered by us, not your original estimate.

  Worst roofing company ever. These guys show up to work on the roof at the hotel I'm staying at at 7PM and proceed to bang nails in. It's well past dark and over 20 people are out in the hallway trying to figure out what is going on. The guy at the front desk tells me they are bringing up materials and will be working tomorrow. I climbed up to the roof myself to tell them to know it off. What kind of fly by night company does roofing in the dark.

  They did a fantastic job putting up our roof. There were a few times when we were a little concerned about the process which is why I knocked off a star, but they made it right in the end.

  From the salesperson Mike to the roofing crew who installed our roof, everyone was professional, timely, and honest. My wife and I are very happy with Shield Roofing's work and we will use them again.

  My roof was in need of being replaced for some time and I finally decided to get it done. My neighbor gave me info for another contractor but I am so glad Shield left a door marker. Jonathan came out gave me a much better quote. I was especially impressed that unlike the other company he actually got up on my roof to ensure that I would get the needed supplies for my job. He made this process so easy and simple. The crew came yesterday and I couldn’t be more pleased with their work. I am so happy with my new roof and I plan to call him again soon to get my siding replaced as well!

  I called the folks at Shield to get a quote on roofing repairs and/or replacement. It was a pleasant surprise that they were able to send someone out the next day to take a look at my roof. Chris came out to provide me with a quote after investigating the current issues. To get an idea of the current state of the roof he flew a drone up and took multiple pictures. While flying the drone he also took the time to show me the issues he was seeing and explain why they were problematic. After reviewing the roof Chris took about 10 minutes or so to put together a quote on what it would cost to replace the roof. There were three different levels of plans. I was very impressed with the information provided to me and how readily Chris answered my questions and made himself available if I had any additional questions. While I may not have used Shield Roofing and Construction for this job I will certainly keep them in mind for future projects at my home.

  Chris Mercer was particularly attentive to watching the progress of the work and dealing with any concerns. The crew was very friendly and worked harder than anyone I have ever had at my home. They worked hard at cleaning up every evening.

  Very satisfied with Shield roofing Co. Chris was very helpful in explaining all aspects of their roofing jobs. He and Luis were in touch every step of the way. Very economical, which was helpful , project was for my Moms older house, years & wind had put a tole on the roof. Workers were on time, and each had their job to do and did it very well. Roof was done in one day professionally & quickly. Clean up was exceptional. Nothing left behind, but peace of mind. Thanks to the whole crew.

  I had the pleasure of doing business with Shield Roofing and they did an amazing job. Chris came up to give me a quote for the job and he was fully prepared with samples of everything. The crew came soon after and they were extremely efficient and professional. Chris finished the job with a walk through and it was nice and easy

  Very prompt, and good quality work. Chris Mercer took care of me and made sure I got the roof I wanted for the right price. Installation took one day, and the crew cleaned everything up. Would recommend them to anyone I know.
